Newington Cakes

Deborah made our wedding cake in April. It was beautiful to look at and nearly too good to eat, but we got over that quite quickly. We had three tiers and the lemon drizzle was particularly popular with one my friends going back for seconds and thirds.... no hesitation to recommend this lovely lady and her amazing cakes.

Deborah did our naked Wedding cake and it was absolutely fantastic! The cake was delicious and decorated exactly as we asked. She delivered it during the evening for us and set it up without us even realising! All of a sudden this perfect cake just appeared in the middle of our room! Lots of guests commented on it and all the take home boxes went, with only a little bit left for us to take home and enjoy after the wedding!

Deborah made us the most stunning cake! We could not have been happier with the whole experience of getting our wedding cake made by Newington cakes. At our initial consultation Deborah was so friendly. Neither of us are the most creative but Deborah was happy to demonstrate a variety of ideas that we could have and give us so many suggestions to help us decide on our perfect cake. In the months before the wedding Deborah was extremely proactive in making sure everything would be perfect...

We wanted a very nontraditional cake for our marriage, exceptionally unique, tasty & to be loved by all our guests. We discussed our needs with Deborah & she arranged a tasting for us. On our special day, her 3 different & unique tiers were decorated onsite with fresh butter cream & fresh seasonal berries whilst our wedding vowels were exchanged. Our cake was fresh & admired & loved by all our guests. Deborah listened to what we wanted & she delivered exactly as promised.

I first sampled Deborah's wedding cakes at a friend's wedding in 2019 and was blown away by how delicious they were. So when planning my own wedding, I knew that I wanted to work with Deborah. She specialises in beautiful bespoke cakes, which meant she was flexible and creative. She arranged cake samples for us to try (which were all delicious!) and really listened when we explained what kind of cake we would like. Throughout the planning process, Deborah was professional, friendly, helpful...

Deboroah made our stunning cake for our wedding at the end of May this year and the whole process with her was a dream. She was always willing to jump on a call or meet in person to discuss design and details and the finished result was spectacular! Three tiers of delicious cake beautifully decorated in rice paper! All our guest raved about how tasty it was. She also liaised with the florist as well to arrange the right flowers for our cake so it was one less thing for us to have to worry about.

Deborah made my engagement celebration cake (red velvet) and my daughters 1st birthday princess cupcakes! They were literally AMAZING!!!! Best cake maker EVER! Highly recommended.

Wow!! What an amazing wedding cake! Every one was talking about it, as they all enjoyed it. We saved the top of the cake for our sons first birthday, and once again it all went, I still love your idea for a tray bake!
