An amazing woodland themed wedding in the height of summer. I made a beautiful 5 tier double chocolate cake with vanilla that served as dessert for 120 people, along with berries and ice cream. I also made hundreds of colourful macarons and the bride and groom said everyone love it. And the best thing is as it was served as the dessert nothing went to waste.

As a self taught baker, chef and pastry chef I love the challenges of running my own business. I love working personally with clients to design a totally unique cake just for them. Being a part of so many happy celebrations makes my job the best!
Start planning early and take advantage of the experience of your suppliers. Your suppliers will have lots of experience with weddings and are more than happy to help you. I for example like to have a preliminary informal chat with my couples and can help when choosing how many servings you need, how to navigate dietary requirements and my options and general advice on anything cake or flower related.

CHECK A DATE. We can get booked out anywhere from six months to two years in advance so the first step is to fill out the form to enquire about a date.
CONSULTATION
Talk to Luisa: if I have the date of your event available we will have a quick chat on the phone to get acquainted and discuss your needs and any ideas we might have for your cake.
GET A QUOTATION
I will then send you all of my portion guides and pricing information for different designs.
AGREE THE DESIGN
Once we have decided on the design of your wedding cake I will email the final order confirmation, invoice and cake contracts for you to check over and sign before you pay a deposit.
PAY THE DEPOSIT
A 50% deposit is required to secure the date of your event.The remainder of the final amount is payable no later than 30 days prior to the delivery of your wedding cake.
ARRANGE DELIVERY
If you require delivery to your venue we will arrange delivery times with your wedding planner or wedding venue. I will take at least two contacts for the wedding day itself should anything not go to plan.

I made a whole table of cakes that looked like a garden of beautiful blooming flowers for an opulent wedding in Normandy, France. It wasn't a traditional tiered cake but a full dessert table made of my signature design the BouCake and lots of individual mini cakes all decorated with beautiful botanical fruit petals. It looked amazing and there were so many different flavour options.
I worked in a bakery and as a pastry chef before making wedding cakes. I was drawn into the personal nature of the wedding cake making process. Making a unique design with many different techniques for a special moment in a couples wedding day is just the best thing about the job and why I love to make wedding cakes.
