Behind the studio is Joanna, an experienced cake designer who loves creating wedding cakes that feel personal to each couple. Whether it's a romantic buttercream design, a relaxed semi-naked cake or something more contemporary and elegant, every cake is individually designed to complement the couple's wedding style.
From delicate handmade flowers and intricate textures to timeless, understated designs, Joanna combines beautiful details with delicious flavours to create cakes that look just as good as they taste.
A personal experience
Joanna works closely with each couple throughout the process, from the initial enquiry and cake tasting to the final design. She offers a selection of delicious flavours, with sample boxes available to help couples choose their favourites.
On the wedding day, Joanna personally delivers and sets up each cake at the venue, making sure every detail looks just as it should.
Having created wedding cakes for celebrations at venues including Clevedon Hall, Coombe Lodge, Berwick Lodge and many others across the South West, Joanna brings years of experience and a personal approach to every wedding.

How much do your wedding cakes cost?
Wedding cakes start from £250 for a simple two-tier semi-naked design. Prices vary depending on the size, style and decorative details. I'm always happy to provide a personalised quote based on your wedding plans and guest numbers.
Do you offer wedding cake tastings?
Absolutely! I offer sample boxes featuring six delicious cake flavours, available for collection or delivery by post. It's a lovely way to discover your favourites before deciding on your wedding cake.
Can we choose different flavours for each tier?
Of course! You can choose a different flavour for each tier, and you're also welcome to mix and match sponge flavours and buttercream fillings from my menu to create combinations that suit your tastes.
Do you deliver and set up wedding cakes?
Yes, I personally deliver and set up wedding cakes at venues throughout Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. Delivery and set-up costs are calculated based on your venue's location.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Once you're happy with your quote, a £100 non-refundable booking fee secures your wedding date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding. We can finalise the finer design details closer to the day.
Can you decorate our cake with fresh flowers?
Absolutely! I'm happy to work with fresh flowers supplied by your wedding florist, provided they're suitable for cake decoration. I also create delicate handmade sugar and wafer paper flowers for couples looking for something a little different.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements or allergies?
Please let me know about any dietary requirements when enquiring, and I'll be happy to discuss what's possible. As my cakes are made in a kitchen where common allergens are handled, I cannot guarantee they are free from traces of allergens and they are not suitable for those with severe allergies.
How far in advance should we book our wedding cake?
I'd recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your wedding date and venue confirmed, particularly for popular summer dates. However, it's always worth enquiring, even if your wedding is just a few months away, as I may still have availability.
Can you create a wedding cake based on our inspiration photos?
Absolutely! You're welcome to share Pinterest boards, photographs or any ideas you love. I can use these as inspiration to create a bespoke design that reflects your wedding style, colour palette and personal preferences.
How do we know what size wedding cake we need?
I'll happily help you choose the right size based on your guest numbers and how you plan to serve the cake. Whether you're offering smaller finger portions or generous dessert slices, we can find an option that suits your celebration and budget.
