Joanna Pyda Cake Studio

Joanna is a lovely person and was so accommodating to work with our cake vision. We met her at a Wedding Fayre at Berwick Lodge and we were all excited to work with her for our day. On a later date, we then picked up a sample box and it was tough to choose which flavour as they all tasted great. For our 3 tier cake, our chosen flavours were signature chocolate, orange & passionfruit and strawberry & champagne. Our Cake Meadow - The design was inspired by the wedding dress design (climbing leaves), which was so lovely to have that flow and mirror on the cake . We chose asymmetrical layers to give it a modern look and to show the design better. We also chose to keep the colour pure white to stay elegant and to work with the pastel colours of the flowers halo'ed beneath it. It was just so perfect!

"Joanna provided the cake at our wedding in August 2022, and we are so pleased we chose her for our big day. In the run up to the wedding, the communication was great and the cake tasting box we got to choose our flavours was the perfect way to help us make decisions (and plenty of fun to eat). The cake was absolutely delicious and looked incredible. We went for a semi-naked cake with an abstract design, and the colours Joanna used matched our wedding party's outfits so brilliantly.

"All we can say is wow! The cake Joanna produced for our wedding just looked absolutely stunning and tasted amazing. We had contacted Joanna very last minute and she did an amazing job of supplying us samples to choose from which all tasted great. We had a tough time choosing. The schedule on our wedding day was very tight so we didn't get t see Joanna but she did such a wonderful job of dressing and presenting the cake. If we ever needed a cake to celebrate again we would definitely use Joan

Joanna was great from start to finish. Communication was very quick and precise and the added service of cake tasting was a very enjoyable and inclusive experience. Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! We froze a layer of it and looking forward to eating it. The cookies & cream flavour was soooo good - all our guests were raving about it. We highly recommend getting your wedding cake from Jo.

Sorry for the very delayed review Joanna! Thank you for making us a simple, beautiful and very tasty wedding cake! Joanna was very accommodating and we managed to booked her 4 weeks away before the wedding. The cake was delicious! All finished and no left over by the evening reception! She also delivered the cake herself to our wedding venue in Bristol. We actually never got to meet Joanna personally but she communicated to us well via email. Thank you again Joanna for our wedding cake!

Thank you so much Jo for such a beautiful wedding cake display! You understood our vision of exactly what we wanted and it looked so lovely on the day. We opted for a dessert table with a couple of two tier cakes, a single tier cake along with cupcakes and iced biscuits, we had so many different flavours and they all tasted amazing, such delicious cakes and all our guests complimented how great they both tasted and looked. We would recommended you to everyone!

Joanna made our wedding cake (and a selection of vegan cupcakes) for our April 2023 wedding and was fantastic throughout. A great communicator and wonderful vendor to deal with and on top of that makes the tastiest of cakes. Our wedding cake was literally one of the most delicious cake we have ever had and many of our guests said the same. We had three flavours : Victoria sponge, chocolate and lemon and elderflower…all delicious! All crowd pleasers.
