Gails cake pantry

Gail has been amazing from start to finish, our guests were amazed at how delicious our cake tasted (we had a 3 tier chocolate, lemon and poopy seed and my favourite lime and coconut) even though it was a warm day our cake didn’t dry out at all! Our guests said it’s the best wedding cake they’ve ever tasted. I also last minute decided to have 50 cupcakes made and this wasn’t a problem for Gail she managed to amend my order! Thank you so much Gail for making such a gorgeous delicious wedding cake for us!

My husband and I got married in October last year and we wanted a un-iced tiered sponge cake however we were having difficulty finding someone who would make it as they were concerned it would dry out. Luckily for us Gail took on the challenge with no hesitation and created my 3 tiered dream wedding cake. The tiers were a mixture of 2 layers of Victoria sponge with the classic jam and fresh cream filling and a layer of lemon and poppy seed sponge cake with a zesty lemon and cream filling all decorated with flowers and winter berries. It looked amazing and tasted even better; it was so fresh and naturally delicious, so much so that there was none left to take home. I can’t thank Gail enough for the stunning cake she made us my only wish is that I could afford to pay her bake cakes for me all the time!

Gail made our three tier wedding cake on Sunday 5th August at The Mill Barns. She listened to what we wanted and created a beautiful cake which was exactly what we asked for and it tasted as good as it looked! Amazing Wedding cake Gail's cake for our wedding was amazing! we are a well traveled couple and our wedding was travel themed so the suitcase cakes were perfect for us. The two flavours we went for were gorgeous: red velvet and white chocolate and raspberry! Got so many compliments about how different the cake was! Couldn't recommend Gail enough. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Gail when sorting out our wedding cake. Before booking Gail came round with cake samples and photo books, giving us lots of choice. We went for a 3 tiered naked cake, with a chocolate sponge layer, Victoria sponge layer and a raspberry and white chocolate layer. The cake was decorated beautifully with fresh fruit and flowers. Gail listened to exactly what we wanted and everything was spot on. On the day of our wedding, Gail went over to the venue to set up the cake so it was all ready for when we arrived, making everything stress free. Everything about the cake was perfect and it looked and tasted absolutely amazing. We had so many lovely comments about our cake after the wedding. Gail made us the most amazing cake for our wedding. She came around the house to discuss what we wanted and brought samples of the delicious cakes that she makes. We went for a rustic naked cake in various flavors and it was so beautiful and tasted so delicious that we actually used it as our wedding dessert with Madagascan cream. It was a massive hit and nice to know it didn’t go to waste as they often do. I would absolutely recommend Gail to anyone!

Gail made our wedding cake last year and words can not describe how amazing it was. It was such an impressive focal point and smelt amazing!!! The chocolate fudge cake layer was so indulgent. We were lucky that our venue didn't put it all out so we froze it. We ate the last piece Wednesday on our anniversary and it was as fresh as the day it was made. 100% recommend! Amazing lady, amazing cake and excellent service! We booked our cake with Gail in March 2020, pre lockdown. Her cakes are such good value for money, compared to other cake suppliers. She even brought us samples to try! Our wedding was last week and wow, the cake was amazing. Looked and tasted excellent! We even had a handmade model of our Labrador which so many people commented on. Thank you again Gail, we are so pleased we booked you!
