I do care passionately about delivering a cake that will impress - both visually and in taste. It's my individuality, imagination and attention to detail that I'm most proud of.

One wedding I attending used old keys with printed parcel labels as place settings, another provided each guest with a personalised wine glass with their name on.

It’s great to be a part of a couple's big day and I really enjoy working with my clients to create something personal and special to them. I typically work exclusively on just one commission at a time so that I can dedicate my attention to perfecting their cake. All the cakes featured on my website are great inspiration, but the intention of EnTicing Cakes by Christine is to individually design and create a dream Wedding Cake around your special day. Often this starts with a face to face consultation to talk through ideas, but this can also happen via email. I maintain good communication throughout the process, right up to delivery/setup.

I wouldn't say that I have a signature cake as each cake is created individually and specifically for the couple concerned. My favourite style is something alternative and possibly even more gothic in looks.

After being in business making birthday cakes for a while, friends asked me to create a wedding cake for their big day. It was a big success and inspired me to advertise as a wedding cake designer in my area.

I have to confess I wouldn't make it as a contestant in GBBO simply because I like to spend time on my designs, as I believe that great ideas and perfection can't be rushed.
