Edible Essence

Absolutely perfect wedding here, could not recommend more highly. We went for a 2 day hire and the first day did outdoor games and al fresco dining in the walled garden which was a truly wonderful preparation for the big day. The venue on the day was perfect for us, especially on a sunny Friday, particularly with all the beautiful outdoor spaces. The Wisteria had just bloomed for us in early May. The organisation in the run up to the wedding was faultless and Beth our coordinator was always on it, responded so quickly and was flexible to all our needs. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they’d been to!

From the second we arrived for our consultation and tasting Jenny was wonderfully polite, friendly and most importantly listened to us. Within minutes of explaining the style and showing her a few photos via Pinterest Jenny had drawn up a masterpiece. And then there was the tasting.... perfect little cupcakes for myself, my husband and my mum, we loved the experience! Jenny was brilliant on the lead up to the day and on the day itself. I still marvel at the photos of our cake! Oh and the show room/consultation super - professional with gorgeous display of cakes everywhere - brides dream!

The talent from Jennifer with her stunning cakes is just incredible, she is an artist in her own right. I spotted Edible Essence on Facebook, having had many friends like her page. Each cake that Jennifer had created was so beautifully detailed and every one is so unique to fit with the customers personalities and style of wedding. I instantly knew that Jennifer would create absolutely anything asked of her. The cake she designed for me was perfect and my guests raved about how delicious it was. Jennifer has built a strong, trustworthy company which is clear to see on both her website and Facebook page. Her reviews show show how reliable and lovely she is. She regularly post her beautiful cake designs from wedding venues across the UK, and each one so beautiful. You can tell that she puts absolutely everything into every piece of work and truly loves what she does. When I met Jennifer she was very friendly easy to talk to and really listen to my ideas of what I wanted my cake to look like. She even drew up a design whilst I sat talking to her, so I could see my vision and make any changes where necessary. She invited me around for tea and cake, to see how the cake would taste as well as look and they are so delicious. I will be recommending her to any family or friends having weddings in the future.

From the moment I met Jennifer at edible essence, I was blown away. I only had rough ideas of the sort of cake I wanted yet with those ideas she created a first sketch there and then, of my dream cake. We were able to choose from a huge variety of flavours, all of which Jennifer posted to my house so that my husband could taste them (he wasn't able to make our first appointment!) On the day our cake was beyond a dream elegant exquisite and absolutely delicious!

Jenny, Simon and I would just like to thank you again so very much for our beautiful wedding cake! We were blown away by how beautiful it was!- at the point of cutting it, we whispered to each other how much we didn’t want to! Haha It was incredible and we received continuous comments about how delicious it was. Most comments were that it was the best cake people had ever tasted! As tables were finishing their cake, they were turning to other tables to ask if they could take any of theirs! Haha so funny! Thankfully, there were some leftovers and my sister put them in the freezer for Simon and I to enjoy once we got back from our honeymoon And oh my goodness- it was really amazing!!!! We didn’t get much time to enjoy it on the day as a couple as we had to run outside for our pictures as the sun came out so we were so pleased to have the rest to enjoy afterwards! You are incredibly talented and we really are so lucky to have found you and manage to book you! From start to finish we were made to feel completely at ease nothing was too much trouble, we had a choice of different flavours for everyone's tastes which was perfect, everything we asked for was written down and we were given a copy. We booked about 2 years before our wedding and we had exchanged emails which were answered very promptly. We didn't even need a second consultation I had every faith that Jenny would deliver a truly beautiful cake which came true & we were amazed with the result.

Presentation of our wedding cake was stunning I was speechless it was everything we wanted and you knew a lot of thought had gone into making the cake. The flavours were amazing I had a lot of guests comment how good the cake tasted.

As soon as I looked at Jenny's website I knew she was the lady who would be making our wedding cake!!! BEAUTIFUL designs and so easy to deal with. Our cake was a thing of beauty and even our venue said it was one of the best they had ever seen. It also tasted absolutely incredible (and myself and my husband aren't even cake people) so that says a lot!

Jenny (edible essence) is truly amazing. Her cake blew us away and was exactly as she had sketched it. I wanted a big cake and Jenny didn't disappoint with a 7 tier cake, beautifully decorated. It was so magnificent I was totally overwhelmed when I first saw it. Thank you so much
