Hayley from Dolly Bird Bakes was absolutely amazing! Everything I envisioned for our wedding cake, she brought to life perfectly – capturing a touch of Spanish influence amongst the greenery and rustic charm of Bradstone Manor, where we held our reception. We chose both carrot cake and lemon & elderflower, and even my partner (who is not usually a cake person!) absolutely loved them. From start to finish, Hayley was a pleasure to work with. No task was too big – she even arrived at 10am to set up – and her attention to detail was incredible. The taster box she sent us when choosing our flavours was such a thoughtful touch, and we loved it so much that we saved some in the freezer to enjoy again later. We truly couldn’t have chosen anyone better for our wedding cake and would wholeheartedly recommend Hayley to anyone!

Having never ordered a professional cake before we weren't sure of the process, but Hayley was very clear and emailed back so quickly. Wow is the first word we said when we saw the cake. Hayley was brilliant from start to end, she was in regular contact with us when discussing cake flavours, she send out a large sample of different flavours and we got to choose most of them - they were all delicious, it was very hard to choose. Hayley was very accommodating to our choices when we wanted to make a change to one of the flavours. During our zoom call Hayley was incredibly through and went through everything with us and really wanted to make sure the look of the cake was how we wanted it. On the day Hayley delivered the most beautiful cake, it was everything and more than I had hoped for. The way Hayley used the florals really complemented the cake. Once the cake had to sadly be cut up we got to taste it, it is delicious and very quickly got devoured! Thank you so much!

I'm so glad that we chose Hayley to create the beautiful cake for our wedding in January - three tiers, three different flavours, each as delicious as the others :) More than just the amazing cake though, Hayley was a dream supplier - timely and helpful responses to queries, offering help and assistance, and able to understand and work to our needs with no worries. Stand-out, without a shadow of a doubt, was Hayley herself. She is such a kind, caring soul, full of advice and tips, with a genuine care and passion for what she does, wanting to see happy couples have their version of a perfect wedding. I just wanted to message and say thank you so much for providing the cake and cupcakes for our wedding on Saturday. I am sorry that I didn't get to see and thank you personally! But you absolutely knocked it out of the park - the cake was exactly as I'd pictured it, and just as delicious (or at least, from the carrot cake tier that I was able to get a piece of 😅). Fortunately we have been able to bring some home with us and have frozen it, so hope we'll be able to further enjoy it at some point

Hayley is honestly a cake wizard, she is so incredibly talented at baking the most delicious and beautiful cakes that all our guests were obsessed with! From the tasting box (delivered in mint condition via post as we live over 300 miles away), planning emails, to the final cake, cupcakes and macaroons we honestly could not have asked for more. Hayley was an absolute delight to work with and we really appreciated being able to rent the cake stand from her. See more at link below

Hayley did our 2 tier semi naked cake for our wedding at Tredudwell Manor on Wednesday 17th May 2023. The wedding cake was absolutely DELICIOUS! All guests commented on how amazing it tasted and we was eating cake 4 days after our wedding but nothing was wasted as it tasted soooooo good. Highly recommend Hayley at Dollybird bakes.
