Hello, I'm Roxanne and I am the founder and the proud owner of Cocobelle Wedding Cakes. Based in County Durham, Cocobelle Wedding Cakes specialises in beautiful, buttercream, ganache and fondant.

Having spent many years at University studying Art & Design and finalising in Textile Design, my passion to be creative now shines through the love of my cake designs. My love for cake making started with celebration cakes and have now expanded into the wedding industry. I am lucky enough to have built a wonderful client base that has lead me to the success of my business and to now be designing and creating cakes within the wedding industry.

All cakes are bespoke and our 'from' price is a starting price only and covers the cost of a plain iced sponge cake that is covered in your choice of finish. Any additional decorations such as sugar flowers, stencilling, ruffles, metallic leaf, monograms etc will incur additional charges.

Hello and welcome to Cocobellewedding Cakes! Cocobelle Wedding Cakes designs bespoke wedding cakes for your special day. With a flavour list to die for and design options that are endless, Cocobelle Wedding Cakes ensures your cake is what you always dreamt of. A wedding cake is a big part of your day, so you want a cake that tastes as good as it looks! All designs are bespoke to each individual client and offer three different medium finishes. My style is modern and clean, incorporating texture with buttercream, ganache and fondant that include fresh florals to complete the look. We also provide cake samples if you wish to taste any of the cakes or if you just fancy a treat. We are a recommended supplier for the apartment group based in the Durham area and provide wedding cakes to the most beautiful venues. These included Runa Farm, Lartington Hall and The Croft Hotel. Cocobelle Wedding Cakes attends wedding fayres within the North East and these dates are advertised on instagram, so if you would like to see where we will be and when, go follow our instagram account. This is a difficult one as all weddings are so beautiful and unique in their own way.

When we receive feedback from our lovely couples on how much they loved their cake. This makes our hearts fill will joy knowing that we created their dream cake!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't leave your cake till the last minute! There is so many things to factor in when planning a wedding and to some people the cake is not the priority! Cake makers book up quickly so make sure you give yourself and your chosen cake maker enough time to get you booked in. Especially if there is a cake maker you really want. Your wedding cake is so important as it will be (apart from the stunning bride) focal point in the room and be in all your wedding pictures!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

If you would like us to design and create your dream wedding cake please do get in touch! You can do this my going to our website and completing the enquiry form. You can can find the form on our website www.cocobelleweddingcakes.com.

Complete the form and make sure you add as much information about your cake as possible! Pictures of your inspiration will be great! Please note we do not copy anyone else's design.

We will then provide you with a rough quote and if you would like us to make your cake you cake secure your date with a non refundable deposit of £100. This will secure your date as we are not able to hold dates. You will have 4 weeks to pay your deposit from the date on your invoice. After this the date will be given to the next person.

Once you have secured your date, we will be in touch to book your consultation. this can be done in person or on zoom. The consultation is an opportunity to get to know us and talk through your ideas. We will also inform you of the next meeting where we will finalise your design and require the remaining balance. this is usually around 4 weeks before your wedding date. Then the rest is up to us and you will see your cake on your special day.

What is your signature cake?

All our cakes are bespoke to each couple so we do not have a signature style.

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.

I started off on celebration cakes. My clients then asked if I would make there wedding cakes and I have enjoyed it ever since! The feeling of seeing the final design of what my couples want is just so satisfying. Feedback from my couples just make me feel its worth the stress as wedding cakes are a lot of work.
