I was Invited to stay at an Indian wedding with 1000 guests. And witnessing the newly weds cutting their enormous 8ft wedding cake. (all cake and flowers not fake) Something us cake makers rarely get to see. It was really lovely to experience this as I always think of my couples when they complete their very first task together as a married couple when cutting their cake and tasting it.
Traditional, contemporary, modern, vintage rustic
I am very proud that I have safely delivered every single wedding cake more than 500 and never let a single bride down. My reliability is my strength. I have weathered all the storms and heatwaves which is a real challenge when it comes to cake. Without fail!
Reserach suppliers and add all the information on your emails. Wedding date with the enquiry is helpful to the suppliers.
So many favourites but the personal ones are really lovely. The handmade ones really stand out. Also the simplest ones are great to. Apples or leaves with names on etc.
I make whatever my couples desire. From simplistic to personalised with handmade elements where there got engaged.
Also the Croquembouche as not many bakers are willing to take this on board.
Most wedding cakes are original to the brides style but the Disney Up House was definitely original and a huge challenge.
I was contacted by a local 5* The Chewton Glen Hotel in 2010 to make and supply their wedding cakes for their inclusive packages.
There is not enough time to produce a perfect show stopper on the bake off. Cakes take many many hours to perfect.
