What is your most memorable wedding?
Well my first answer is whichever wedding I’ve just done as I tend to be on a bit of a high after all my deliveries, but inevitably there are some couples or their cakes that stand out for me. Setting up in the middle of the countryside at Clockhouse Barn whilst England were playing in the semi final of the World Cup was interesting, the entire guest list were crowded around the big screen cheering them on whilst I tried to keep a steady hand and build a cake! Assembling a 6 tier extravaganza in a limited time in the Great Hall at Hampton Court Palace whilst a couple of lingering American tourists watched and commentated and taking cakes on boats or foot bridges to less accessible venues. Many memories!

What about your business are you most proud of?
That my customers say it’s clear that my cakes are made with love as it shines through.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
When it comes to cake planning generally less is more, Just because you like everything in a portfolio it doesn’t mean putting it all on the same cake looks good!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Well I love my personalised toppers, made to look like the couple and designed as a keepsake. Probably my favourite pair were ones with a nod to Harry Potter as they had a very, very romantic proposal at the Studio Tour which we worked with on the cake ... and I'm a huge Harry Potter fan
