£595 - £3,000
For around 40 people, a finished cake - 2 tiers (flowers not included) and set up included starts at £595 plus delivery (depending on delivery postcode). However, we are very flexible. Let us know your thoughts, please email. Cupcakes start at £5.50 each. Mini cakes £14.50. As far as flavours go, we can make anything your heart desires, for example, Red velvet with classic cream cheese buttercream, Chocolate with vanilla buttercream, Chocolate with chocolate fudge, Vanilla with champagne buttercream, Orange and chocolate fudge, Vanilla with lemon curd & blueberries, Strawberry shortcake, Raspberry ripple, White chocolate and raspberry, Caramel apple, Carrot & orange, Lime and coconut, Mango, Pineapple, and coconut… the list is endless. Bad Ass Cakes creates cakes to make you go wow, they are flavoursome, delicious and make people happy. If you want a party in your mouth Bad Ass Cakes design cakes for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, private customers and companies, and all types of office celebrations including product launches, summer balls and corporate gifts. Barbara has several signature recipes, including the family recipe organic Jamaican Rum Cake, now in her new book, Sweet Soul Baking. Barbara baked cakes with her mother (who in turn used to bake with her mum) as a child, and now has many delicious recipes under her belt. Their cakes stand out from the crowd because they work hard on flavours. They want your wedding cake to look amazing and taste delicious too, and they don't accept one without the other. They are always determined to use the best quality ingredients they can find. Moist, light cakes are what their customers tell them they do best. They hope you agree. Don't get too many people involved. It's your day, you choose. Never look down on your wedding cake (it creases your dress) :-)

The groom was in tears when his groomsmen took a baking class with me and made him a cake, which was delivered at the wedding party.

What is your signature cake?

Jamaican Rum Cake. My Chocolate Fudge and my Red Velvet are up there, too.

What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?

My award-winning Jamaican Rum cake. Sometimes served with my rum sauce from my book. Sweet Soul Baking.

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.

My mum would bake and sit me on the kitchen counter. I would stir, wash up, and lick the bowl. Grow up to love the process and the smells.
