What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to get an understanding of the couple and their plans for their wedding. This helps with the design process so that we can tailor the cake to their needs. We first have an initial conversation so that we can give a quote. If the couple is happy with the quote we will take a booking payment and arrange a sample box to be delivered to their home. A consultation will be arranged around 6 months prior to the wedding so that we can confirm and fine tune the design. After this we will concentrate on creating the perfect cake and deliver and set up at the chosen venue. We are always available to answer and questions or concerns a couple may have anywhere in this process.
What is your signature cake?
Honestly, I don't have one. I do prefer more simplistic, rustic styles but love to be challenged.
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
This will be a cake I have planned for next year which is a 4 tier cake, with each tier sharing different parts of the couple's lives.
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
I decided early on that I wanted to create wedding cakes as I really enjoyed working with couples to create something special.
