Inspired by a lifelong love of baking, I left my IT career in 2019, to turn my part-time business into a full-time career creating timeless, bespoke wedding cakes that blend elegance and flavour. Baking sustained me through my breast cancer journey in 2023, and today I pour that renewed passion into every design. Although I specialise in bespoke cakes, I still love to make simple semi naked style cakes and fun cupcakes for those with a smaller budget. My prices range from Moderate to luxury and I will endeavour to work within your budget. Prices can start from as little as £100 for a single cutting cake and £200 for a small 2 tier semi naked style vanilla cake. Delivery/set up starts from £50 within a 25 mile radius of TN32 5LL, which includes adding fresh or artificial flowers. Please note the cost of the flowers is not included and would be quoted individually depending on the types required - I would usually advise to order fresh flowers directly from your florist, although I will always liaise with them to ensure that all flowers and foliage are safe to use. I can quote you for silk or sugar flowers. Message from the team

Name of Wedding Contact: Michelle Ware
My name is Michelle and I am 'A little bit Naughty'! I named the company in honour of my lovely Dad, who I sadly lost to cancer back in 2005. I have cherished memories when I was little, of Dad coming home from work at the weekend with a big brown paper bag full of delicious chocolate treats. He had a very sweet tooth and would say, "it's ok to be a little bit naughty every now and then" as he emptied the contents out with a big smile.

Highly recommend
Michelle did a brilliant job in bringing our vision to life in the form of our wedding cake! It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing! She made a little model of our pug and made time for last minute changes. She was on hand if we had any questions and her communication was very good. We highly recommend Michelle! Incredible!
We would certainly recommend Michelle to anyone - the cakes were beyond incredible! When planning a wedding, this can be very stressful but Michelle made this process effortless. So many of our guests left compliments about our cupcakes and we were truly so happy with both flavour and how they were presented. Michelle offers a huge range of amazing flavours - the hardest part was choosing between them! We will definitely be ordering from Michelle again!

e found 'a little big naughty' at a wedding fair, she was exhibiting a cake very similar to what we wanted! from the go ahead she was extremely communicative and accommodating, and we had the best experience with her. We had vegan cupcakes to surround our main cake, and this were so good that even the most stubborn meat eater couldn't tell! The cakes were extremely generous/ tall and we ended up with lots left over, some cake in the freezer, and are hoping it will last as it tasted amazing!

Fabulous!!
We were blown away by the beautiful cake that Michelle created for our wedding!! We only began with a few vague ideas but we ended up with a cake beyond anything we could have wished for! She was so helpful, passionate and knowledgeable and the entire experience was so smooth. It was very easy to chat to her and she was so friendly and accommodating. The cake looked incredible but also tasted amazing too (we went for chocolate and salted caramel, although that was a tough decision as

Beautiful, Delicious Cakes!
Our experience with Michelle was fantastic from start to finish. She first invited us to an initial consultation at her bakery where she let us sample several of her best selling flavours. During the consultation Michelle provided us with so much helpful guidance from size of cake needed, flavours, style and design ideas as we didn't have a clear vision on what we wanted. In the lead up to the wedding Michelle was so communicative, even designing her allergens sign to

Fabulous wedding cake!
I found Michelle online and I'm so glad I did. She did the most beautiful 3 tiered semi-naked wedding cake for us which she decorated with gorgeous Autumnal flowers. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted it too and so many of our guests said the same thing. The raspberry ripple flavour in particular was our favourite and so became the largest of the tiers! She is also such a lovely person to deal with and was so helpful throughout the whole process including sending us

Excellent!
We cannot praise Michelle enough. Nothing was too much trouble. From tasting her cakes at a Wedding Fayre and then going over to see her at Robertsbridge market so we could finally make decision because there was so much choice. We eventually settled on Chocolate on the top, Carrot cake in the middle and Biscoff for the bottom layer. She gave advise on the size of the cake for the amount of people attending and made gluten free cup cakes for one guest. Michelle even sourced a hoop for

Michelle is super talented
From the moment we met Michelle, she instantly understood what we were trying to achieve with our cake and helped us bring the overall vision to life. Michelle was always friendly and approachable and would listen, it was always a total pleasure to be working with her. Not only was the cake visionary, the taste was exceptional; many of our guests went out of their way to say it’s the best cake they’ve had in years. The taste was phenomenal.

Our stunning wedding cake!
We met Michelle at a local wedding fair and were immediately impressed by her friendliness and the beautiful selection of cakes. She was easy to communicate with throughout and answered any questions very promptly. She kept us updated as we got closer to the day and delivered our cake to the venue on the morning of our wedding. Our cake was simply stunning, both in how it looked and how it tasted. It made for an impressive focal point in our venue and also made for som

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Actually a cake I made recently is probably my favourite and most memorable wedding cake. It was for a mature couple that love travel and literature - I made them an old fashioned leather suitcase with a stack of their favourite books on the top with a pair of old style passports and also then finished it with some handmade sugar flowers to match the brides bouquet. I loved decorating it, even though it took me hours and the couple were absolutely blown away by the finished cake, which makes it all worth while!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Detailed; artistic; imaginative; original; unique

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am very proud that despite being diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of 2023, I managed to keep working throughout my chemotherapy and was able to fullfil all my weddings. My treatment is almost complete and I am pleased to say I am cancer now free, I am back to full capacity and looking forward to being able to fulfil more couples cake dreams!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Semi naked cakes are very popular and having fresh flowers on them to match your bridal bouquet and table centres can look stunning. However, when planning this, you need to be aware that many flowers and types of foliage are toxic and should not come in to contact with buttercream, where they may stick to the icing and could be consumed by your guests. I have a full list of flowers and foliage that are safe to use and usually liaise with your florist to ensure that similar flowers can be obtained where possible or can perhaps be substituted with some artificial ones. If you have any queries about your flowers pleased don't hesitate to ask, I'm always happy to advise.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love it when couples include their pets in their weddings and I've had the pleasure of making sugar paste replicas of some gorgeous cats and dogs. Last year, I had to dress the couple's dog 'Dexter' up in a matching suit they'd had made for him which was super cute.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I love to work with my couples from start to finish to ensure they have the cake of their dreams, whether it's a simple cake or an extravagent bespoke creation. On site consultations are available by appointment and are recommended for my bespoke cakes so I can ensure every detail is perfect.

What is your signature cake?

I have a signature chocolate cake, which is a deliciously moist and gooey cake made with buttermilk, and milk and dark chocolate melted in coffee to bring out the flavour of the chocolate. Because of the moisture content it has a really good shelf life as well allowing it to be enjoyed to 5 days or more (if you can resist eating all that is). I have several variations of this cake incorporating lots of fabulous flavours, from Baileys Irish Cream to chocolate orange, mint chocolate, chocolate caramel and my very popular 'Nuts About Chocolate' which includes peanut butter buttercream, homemade salted caramel and chunks of snickers!

What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?

Last year one of my brides said her favourite flavour was peach melba, so I made their middle tier (3 tier semi naked cake), a vanilla sponge and boiled up some peaches to make a peach sugar syrup which I soaked into the layers of sponge, then I layered it with a custard buttercream and pieces of poached peaches, some peach conserve, vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam. Luckily it was the right season to get some lovely quality fresh local peaches and she loved it and said their guests loved it too, which made it all worth while!

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.

Peer pressure! LOL I started making cakes as a part-time passion and over the years so many people kept asking me to make cakes and telling me I should be doing it full-time that I eventually realised it was what I loved doing and I should make it my career. I LOVE making wedding cakes and like to make every cake I make as unique as the brides and grooms!

What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?

I love making tree and fairytale style cakes, so definitely something with a wood effect. Although, I confess that I spend so many hours creating my cakes, I'd have never done well on Bake Off with such a limited amount of time - I'm too much of a perfectionist!!
