Make Lists & schedules for different suppliers & details so you know exactly where you're at making your planning a little calmer.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A chair that was kept free at the ceremony with a little white rose & a sign for the grandparents that were no longer with us in person but with us in our hearts.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually meet the bride & sometimes groom at our trial date. This is a lovely time as we get to know each other, discussing & practising styles & finalise the wedding day look.
The next time I see the bride is either just before the wedding day for finishing touches such as tan, nails, waxing etc or on the wedding day itself. This is lovely as I will meet the bridal & her bridesmaids ready for a full morning of makeup up fun
What do you love most about your job?
Being involved in such a monumental day for most people. I love that I have been chosen to be involved in their wedding day it makes me feel incredibly honored.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
By staying calm myself & being the one to help out with anything that needs doing whether thats helping bridesmaids into dresses, doing up shoes & even on occasions helping the bride into her gown too.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
I always provide my bride with our chosen lip stick/gloss so she can top up before her evening guests.
In regards to the rest I have been very fortunate that due to good prep & fabulous setting spray my brides have always said how their makeup has stayed in place all day without the need for touch ups.
