What is your most memorable wedding?
Becky & Simon's retro style wedding in Birmingham, the whole retro theme looked fabulous especially Becky's gorgeous bespoke wedding dress from The Couture Company, loved the vibrant colours - from the flowers to the incredible street art captured in their wedding photos to their quirky dinosaur wedding cake - the whole wedding looked amazing & so much fun!! We loved providing retro hairstyling for Becky & her bridesmaids & we received a beautiful box of hand made sparkly pink & cream skull chocolates as a thankyou gift!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Research your suppliers - visit websites, take the time to read client testimonials, booking information & look through photo galleries & book well in advance!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The bride & grooms parents & grandparents own wedding photographs displayed for guests to look through & handmade decorations including scrolled wooden table numbers & beautiful silk flower wreaths/garlands.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Reply to enquiry with a welcome, a short description about us, if applicable a personalised price quote if requested & how to secure booking with a deposit, trial is arranged to suit client & receipt for deposit payment is emailed with confirmation of booking. An email is sent before trial day to ensure the arranged date is still convenient, trial takes place & we then email photos taken at trial, provide a hair/makeup time schedule (if applicable) for wedding day & re cap final costs & when due. We arrive at arranged time & venue on wedding day & provide hair/makeup for requested number of clients ensuring all are looking amazing & are ready in plenty of time!

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Skincare! Preparation is the key to flawless skin. Start a good skin regime at least 6 weeks before your wedding day, cleanse, tone & moisturise twice a day, always remove makeup & include gentle exfoliation once or twice a week to brighten dull, tried skin, this is really important as it helps eliminate dry, dead skin cells & reveals smoother, fresher skin for a flawless foundation base.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
We ensure we always allow plenty of time to provide hair/makeup so we never rush the bride, we offer tips for a stress free morning at the brides pre wedding trial too - such as before the wedding day check little things like shoes are label free, dresses have tags removed, someone knows how to do up the wedding dress - we usually offer to do this anyway as we've helped so many brides with their dresses we are experts!! Also delegate little tasks to your bridesmaids - answering the hotel room door, taking delivery of flowers, helping with button holes, making drinks etc, ensure at least one other person knows the days schedule! By providing useful insights into the smooth running of the wedding morning our brides are heads up & can sit & enjoy being pampered on their wedding day knowing all is organised & there's time to relax!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
We only use the very best quality cosmetic brands which are specifically chosen for bridal makeup as they provide long lasting wear, all our brides need to do to stay looking fabulous throughout the day is to top up their lipstick (which we supply a sample of in our free touch up kits - given to all our brides).
