The one where I was invited to the party afterwards!
Perfectionist, confident, friendly, professional, approachable
My professional abilities. It's taken years of experience to get this good, and now I'm at the top of my game.
Plan on enjoying the preparations. There's a lot to do, so aim to focus on the fun not the frazzled nerves!
The groom sending loving words and a gift to his bride. I'm touched just thinking about it now.
I usually interact only with the bride, occasionally I'll do her beloved's mono brow... But other than that it's just me and the bride and any others having makeup. My plan is always the same - to transform each one into the gorgeous looking female they are hoping to see in the mirror.
Transforming someone, bringing out their hidden gorgeousness, and it's always there waiting to be discovered. I want to hear, "I've never looked this good."
SKIN! Exfoliate and moisturise. Aim to give me a smooth base to work with, any help appreciated, and I'll give you radiance and anything you want, basically!!!
Be friendly, get on with the job, help with things if necessary but stay in the background. I do anticipate her needs at times and ask a bridesmaid to take care of a situation, maybe ask the wedding party not to tell her unnecessary stressful news relating to things she doesn't need to know about, such as Jimmy's trousers are too short, or Aunty Edna's fell out with Uncle Dave and they're not coming... Shh! Just get everyone finished on time, and leave them to enjoy themselves.
Have a touch up makeup bag handy containing face powder, lippy, etc, for later on.
