I recommend your preview to be a minimum of 12 weeks prior to your wedding date, as at this stage you will most likely have chosen your wedding dress and may have an idea of the personal style you want to evoke for the big day.
The preview appointment normally lasts around 1.5hrs per person.
My aim is to make you look and feel like the best version of yourself (not someone completely different, unless this is desired) ensuring you are 100% happy with the look and that you are wearing the make-up rather than the make-up wearing you.
Once you are happy and we have found your Bridal look (and that of your bridal party) I will makes notes relating to all of the products I have used and how I have used them, as well as photographing your look to enable me to re-create it exactly on your wedding day.
Before your preview appointment, I ask that my brides-to-be have a look at images/styles and colours that they like, along with visual images of things that they don’t. This will really help me visualise exactly what you’re looking for. A photograph of yourself in make-up is also welcomed so that I can pick up on any ‘make-up comforts’ that you may miss if we did not include them.
At the preview I will initially go through all of your images, make-up, hair, dress, flowers and anything else you may like to share with me to develop a full understanding of what look you are wanting and how it all links in with the rest of your wedding. It is at this point I really get to know you; who you are, what you love and what inspires you.
We will also discuss your skin type and normal skin care regime, your skin concerns and how it is throughout the day. This will help me understand what products are going to work best on your skin and make any suggestions that you may wish to introduce into your skin care regime.
