What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The photographer mounting an engagement photo for all the guests to sign on the day. She presented it as a gift to the bride.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Email or telephone contact initially. Then several email conversations regarding styles. I allow 2 hours for a trial and this ensures my brides get to know me and me them.
What do you love most about your job?
It’s not a job to me...it’s a passion
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
I have 2! Use a professional hair shampoo and have a facial once a month a minimum of 6 months before the wedding.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I keep and eye on the time, remind the bride to drink And eat (water!) and help with final touches...doing up dresses, putting necklaces on and even shoes!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Have your hair and makeup professional done.
