The Cotswold Beauty Barn Full Description

Situated on the outskirts of Bourton on the Water, The Cotswold Beauty Barn offers a range of luxury treatments. We like to go on a journey with our brides ensuring they look and feel their best on their big day. We also offer, Bridal Makeup with our Makeup Artist Becca. We use Airbase Makeup, which is renowned for its flawless results that last all day without the need to touch up. We know how stressful it is the morning of your wedding and have therefore organise with your hairdresser and photographer the timings. Becca has been told time and time again, how much of a calming influence she is on her brides. Luxury Pamper Parties are also available £100 per person for 10 people includes, a group pt session or yoga session, followed by a glass of prosecco, an intimate live set with a local musician, 2 course meal catered for by your own chef for the day, a 30 minute treatment per person and gift bags for every guest. Lakeside views, fire pit and giggles with your favourite people.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Our ability to make our brides feel completely confident in our work, to make them look and feel their very best and also incredibly relaxed.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Relax, have fun and enjoy every moment of your special day x

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The handmade paper flowers lining the marquee at a wedding in the summer, a year in the making each one was stitched together with love by each of the bridal party. Truly unique.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I will meet the bride/ couple 6 months prior to the wedding. We will discuss skin preparation, and go through a bridal trial.

On the day we will turn up at the agreed time and work to the agreed agenda for the morning in order to make sure everything flows with ease.

What do you love most about your job?

It's such a privilege to be part of a brides big day. Makeing them look and feel their very best.

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?

Makeup artists can only do so much, skin preparation needs to be thought about months in advance.

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

I will create an agenda for the morning, ensuring everyone gets a subtle amount of time, there will be an allocation of time for any unexpected issues, ensuring the majority of stress is relieved.

Usually after the bride has had her hair done & is in the process of having her makeup done- the enormity of what's about to happen hits home, i see it with every bride, we take 5-10 minutes quiet time, get the bride a drink and some fresh air and just talk to her calmly. Reassuring her that everything will be ok.

What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?

Buy a lipstick that you can top up with.

Everything else will hold however lipsticks with rub off due to constantly touching your lips throughout the day. X
