I have lots of memorable weddings for different reasons, The worst weather ever! The groom buying his bride a car on her wedding morning! The ones with the sweetest families that you can't help but shed a little tear when the dad sees his daughter for the first time in her dress. There are too many to choose from.
Reliable, Relaxed, Accommodating, Talented, Professional.
My awards, they show that my brides who voted for me to win them are really pleased with their wedding hair and that makes me happy to know I contributed towards someones special day being perfect.
Be organised
Handmade hair vines for the bride and bridesmaids.
When a bride looks to book me I first ask for all the details of the wedding (usually easiest done via my enquiry form on my website) this makes it easier for me to then check my date and time availability and I then email the bride with a quote if i'm available. I give a complete breakdown of the costs (including any travel charges) so there are no hidden costs. From here I ask for a small deposit of £50 if they'd like to secure their wedding day (I only do 1 wedding per day!) and the book in a hair trial when they feel they are ready. The deposit holding the date just creates peace of mind that the bride knows i'm booked.
Making a bride smile
Beauty sleep
Stay relaxed, I think if the professionals around the bride are stressing then this will only rub off on the bride. I believe that is the professionals are calm then the bride knows things are normal and there is nothing to worry about, even during those hectic moments.
The professionals on the morning should do most of the work to ensure the bride is looking glamorous all day. If it's a windy day or the bride is travelling in the car, I always leave a couple of spare grips with a bridesmaids to ensure and stray hairs can be pinned back in ready for the photos and the evening to stay looking tip top.
