What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding I work at has its memories, one that stands out for me is when I had just finished some flawless bridal makeup and the flower girl decided she would like a go she picked up my eyeliner brush and did the most gigantic black stripe down mums (the brides) cheek. I had to laugh and then quickly correct it, I always remember to watch the kiddies from now on.

one of my brides, bridesmaids had a card made with a drawing of the bride and groom in the background was a drawing of the wedding venue. it was so lovely.

so usually the bride will contact me, we then go through everything together I then send out a booking form. from then we have a trial where we try out different looks and get a idea of what we are going to do on the big day. I always keep in contact with my brides from the booking to the wedding day sharing ideas and pictures and ensuring any questions are answered.

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
skincare!! the secret to a flawless dewy look is all about taking care of your skin, at trials I always recommend products and tell my cliemts about there skin and the do's and don'ts.
Eat healthy, take care of the skin in sunlight, wash your face twice a day, cleanse tone and moisturise and you cant go wrong.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I totally understand that sometimes brides can feel the pressure on the big day, I find the best way to help the bride feel calm is to keep cool myself I'm quite used to being in busy, stressful situations as I have worked in theatre and film makeup everything is on a time limit and you have to be super quick and organised. so I guess I have just learnt to stay calm myself I'm a very calm person anyway and I find that it rubs of on my brides. I spend the whole morning with the bride and the bridal party so I'm in the centre of it all. I like to make sure I have everything in order and run to time because I feel if I'm doing my job to the best as I can then its one less thing for the bride to worry about. as well as being the hair and makeup artist I always stay until the bride and bridal party are ready to go so I can help out with anything even its just topping up the drinks. I've even had the sewing kit out before now fixing dresses.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
I always make sure that my makeups are super long lasting, I recommend having a lipstick to top up throughout the day. as for the hair again I make sure its very secure there shouldn't be any need to do anything with it throughout the day.
