“Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. I believe that all brides deserve the best service and expertise on their special day. I always feel privileged to be part of that special time on the wedding morning giving not just makeup but calming a nervous bride, doing up fiddly buttons and distracting the young bridesmaids with my makeup kit is all part of the job. Seeing the bride’s confidence grow after the makeup is applied is very rewarding.” On The Day On the wedding day I will come to you whether it be at home or the venue itself. Arrival times etc will be arranged prior to the wedding day and then all you need to do is sit back, relax & let your make-up artist do all the work!! The Wedding Day Make-Up service is available to the whole wedding party, from Bridesmaids to Mother of the Bride & even Mother of The Groom, so that everybody can look & feel their best for your big day!V&M-128[/one_half] Trial A Trial is usually booked 2-6 months before the actual date of the wedding. The duration of the trial will usually last between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It is an opportunity for us to discuss any ideas that you have for your desired look and to carry out a makeup that you are comfortable with. If you have any photos from magazines please bring these along. I will listen to you needs and I will offer advice on how to achieve the perfect look for you. All details of products and techniques will be recorded. I take a photo of the completed look. It will be held in my makeup studio in Falmouth or at your chosen venue (added charge) I usually ask if you can book at least 6 months in advance if your wedding falls on a Saturday.
I have so many! Some for all the wrong reasons, but I do get emotional still even after so many weddings.
Natural, but flawless. Playing up the eyes. Makeup that will stay. Calm and relaxed personality.
I love that I have so many people who now recommend me, from wedding suppliers to guests at a wedding I did and people who have seen my work.
Remember whats it all about, as you can get bogged down with all the little things you can forget why you are doing it. Enjoy it and have a great day.
I love seeing what the groom has bought for the bride. One groom went outside the apartment at 5 am and wrote in the sand I love you! Now thats romantic.
I usually email until we meet for the trial. This is where I go through everything from timings to the look and recommended lipstick and any other makeup for the day. This is usually 2-3 months before the wedding. Then I see them again on the day unless they want to change the makeup for any reason.
Seeing how amazed the bride is when she looks at herself in front of the mirror, especially if they well up, which starts us all off.
Have a facial at least 6 month before the wedding and then each month. If your skin looks good your makeup will too.
I have a relaxed personality, so I talk calmly to her, without asking her too much. I allow her some space to have a think and chill while she is having her makeup, as this can be the last thing she has done before she puts the dress on.
Some translucent powder to top up throughout the day will help. Have your lipstick handy, but relax and enjoy yourself, as your makeup will not go anywhere.
