Rachel did the hair and makeup for my wedding in September. There were 5 of us and Rachel and her fantastic assistant did an amazing job! I was so happy with my hair and makeup and both stayed looking great for the whole day. Rachel was really friendly and helpful, working with me during my trial to get exactly the look I was going for. Would highly recommend!

I don't wear a lot of make-up and was unsure about where to start but wanted to look special on my big day as well as treating my mum and bridesmaids. Rachel was fantastic from day one. She was so friendly and knew exactly what to do to make us look natural and feel special. She kept in touch between the trial and the wedding and gave us some excellent skincare and make-up tips. On your wedding day (and throughout life of course) you want to surround yourself with amazing people that you can trust and make it fun and I couldn't have been happier having Rachel O'Dell as part of our day. Rachel was the makeup artist at a friends wedding 7 years earlier when I was a bridesmaid and did such a fantastic job I didn't think twice about who to call. I don't often wear make-up and having not long gone through chemo I was struggling to come to terms with a new shorter hairstyle. Rachel really listened, understood and made great suggestions and I can say she gave me such confidence for my hen do and my wedding day. When we first met for a coffee and a really easy-going planning session I knew instantly I had made the right choice and a friend for life. Rachel did a pre session with me, she was really flexible fitting it around my hen do and the mayhem of a house filled with giddy hens and has such a calm nature I had such confidence that everything that followed would be amazing. Nearly 4 years later my hen do picture is still my twitter profile picture, what does that tell you? You'll be in great hands with Rachel and as soon as I can I am booking back in for a make-up lesson and then perhaps I can update that twitter profile picture! Thank you Rachel you're an absolute star.

My wedding day sadly had to be changed due to family circumstances and Rachel was really accommodating. During my trial she made me look beautiful and also was a great shoulder to cry on due to our circumstances. I came with my ideas and she made me look even better than I would have expected. On the day of the wedding Rachel was so professional and just fitted in to the madness of the day. I’ll never forget how lovely and supportive she was at such a difficult time for me and helped make me feel like a million dollars. I continue to recommend Rachel to anyone who is getting married as she’s a true diamond. Her make up skills are brilliant and even to this day I get people commenting on how epic I looked on my wedding day.

don’t wear makeup, ever, not even mascara or lipgloss. I did however need to on my wedding day. From the moment I met Rachel for a coffee I knew she was the perfect person to do my make up on my special day. She was super friendly, helpful, easy going and warming. We had a trial and make up on the day for me, MOB, and bridesmaids. Her skills are superb and my make up was flawless. I felt super comfortable given that I don’t wear makeup. I would highly recommend Rachel (which I did to my friend who is using Rachel for her wedding hopefully this year -COVID pending). Rachel is super friendly, professional and accommodating. 100% recommend.

That’s when I met Rachel. From start to finish she has been incredible. Being a covid bride my wedding plans changed so many times and Rachel was there every step of the way. As you can imagine I became quite stressed that I might have to do my own makeup for my wedding day - something that I desperately didn’t want to do. Rachel offered so many different options and even offered to do an on the day wedding makeup tutorial for me. Luckily she was able to come on the day and do both mine and my mum’s makeup for our short ceremony. I knew exactly which look I was trying to achieve and Rachel understood this. She did our makeup beautifully - it was flawless - and I certainly felt extremely confident for the day. Rachel is so easy to get on with and she calmed my nerves while creating the perfect look for my day taking all aspects into consideration. She even found the perfect shade of lipstick that complemented my wedding flowers and my daughters dress. Overall I can not recommend Rachel enough - she is amazing. We are having a big wedding in a few years time and I can’t wait for Rachel to do mine, my mums and all my bridesmaids makeup. Thank you so much for making me look and feel like a princess on my wedding day. I didn’t think I would suit makeup , with never wearing it , but it was just perfect and I did genuinely feel like a million dollars.
