Rachel Neate Makeup & Hair Artist

Really happy with the hair and make-up looks that Rachel put together for me and my bridesmaid. She was really easy to talk to and helped make it a relaxing morning of preparation.

First of all I wanted to say a huge thank you to both you and Caroline for doing such an amazing job, for the first time in my life I looked in the mirror and felt beautiful - not only that, but my hair and make up stayed perfect for the entire wedding - and there wasn't even a blob of grease on my skin when I came to take it all off at 2am the next morning. Whatever you used did my skin the world of good.

Thank you very much for the hair and make up you did for Helen and the bridesmaids last Saturday.  The make up and hair made them look even more beautiful, but more than that it was having the schedule of timing for the morning and the calm atmosphere that came with you just getting on with what you had to do while the rest of carried on around you.  Perfect.

We contacted Rachel at what I would consider short notice, approx 6/8 wks before the wedding. Rachel was very professional, able to accommodate (I suspect being slightly out of season?) Rachel and her colleague were very punctual, professional, did research beforehand on colours, styles etc as to what would suit the wedding theme. The brief was the Mother of the Bride, Grandmother of the Bride and all the Bridesmaids. I did my own make up as I am rather particular with my own style etc.

Rachel is a very talented make up artist. I was very pleased with the look she created for me on my wedding day. I felt confident that i could rely on her right from the start as she seemed very experienced in her field. I showed her a picture of what i wanted at my trial session and she took great care to get it right. I was not sure about false eyelashes at first but really glad i gave them a go!

2 of my work colleagues used Rachel for their wedding make-up and I was very impressed with her work. The make-up looked very natural and as I don't wear much make-up day to day, I knew Rachel was the make-up artist for me.
