What is your most memorable wedding?
A performing arts family! The bride and her sister owned a dance school, the husband to be was a dancer and all the bridal party were performers too! Such a fun, chilled, party vibe!

So many weddings end up being to please family that your own wants/needs get lost but at the end of the day, its really only about you two!

Flip Flops - Nothing worse than sore feet!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
So the first point of contact is normally an email and then a phone call, I then email over a quote with everything I can offer the couple including Makeup along with any other treatments required
Then a trial or initial treatments take place where both myself and the client sign the contract and a deposit is paid for the wedding day
Then any further treatments take place
The Wedding Day arrives, I always turn up, up to 30 minutes early to set up, with extra time allowed for anything that may occur on the day
Then at a time decided in the contract I pack up and leave, this might be once the makeup is done, or when the bride leaves for the ceremony, or at other stages throughout the day!
What do you love most about your job?
The smiles! Passing that mirror to the client and seeing their eyes light up warms my heart so much!

Start preparing from the minute you get engaged!
Waxing takes at least 3 waxes to get perfect results and over time the hairs get less and less so the sooner you start the better!
Lashes - There are so many different styles and options! It's important to explore them all!
Makeup - Sometimes a second trial is needed to try a crazy look you just can't get out of your head, so make sure you have the time for it!
Brows - If we're starting a re-growth programme, this takes time! We want to get the best results by the time your wedding day comes!

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I have little tips and tricks up my sleeve - my kit is carefully selected with the scents in mind! Rose water sprays, scented hand sanitizer, any little trick to help!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Have your bridesmaid carry a fluffy powder brush for you!
It doesn't have to have any product on but then no matter what happens, if you cry or sweat a ton dancing the night away, a quick dust over with a fluffy brush can blend everything together again!
Cotton Buds!!! Dont wipe any tears as you'll smudge your makeup, simply dab a cotton bud in the corner of your eyes!
