That's such a tough questions as weddings can be memorable for the wrong reasons! However I did one recently where the bride had undergone really serious treatment and surgery weeks before her wedding, that would affect the rest of her life and her marriage. She didn't shed one tear or even put herself first at any point even though it was her day and clearly was still in pain, her bravery, strength and beauty was immense. That bride inspired me and will continue to do so.
Flawless, enhancing, glowing, beautiful, girly!
My aim was to turn a lifelong dream into a hobby, yet I have turned it into a career and business. I have to pinch myself that this has really happened and I've done it all by myself.
Don't try to please anyone else. It's your day and everyone will give you their opinions, but as long as you and your partner are happy that is all that counts.
It's quite emotional but a brother was giving his sister away as their father had passed away. He had made clips for the back of her shoes with a little pic of her dad on, so that he would still be walking her down the aisle. I thought this was such a lovely thing to do.
I work with the bride. Usually I'll get an email enquiry from the bride, and I'll send out a quote. Then we'll fix a time for a trial. This is an opportunity for not only to have a trial run on the wedding makeup, but also for us to get to know one another. All brides are different, some love makeup and know exactly what they want whereas some want my guidance and advice, and I adapt accordingly.
I LOVE makeup and I ADORE doing bridal makeup. Simple as that!
Start prepping your skin 6 months before the wedding. Cleanse tone moisturise, lots of water and regular exfoliation.
I reassure her constantly, and if something is bothering her I will either distract her or personally sort it. If that means, making tea, picking something up, sewing a dress, I will do it.
Don't get drunk!
