What is your most memorable wedding?
My very first wedding with a Bride from America. It was a very special day for me. The Bride found me via Instagram from a Photoshoot I done at Culcreuch Castle. The makeup look was inspired by Taylor Swift in the Blank Space video and the Bride loved the makeup.

Winning Freelance Wedding Makeup Artist at the Scottish Wedding Awards in 2018.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book your chosen suppliers as soon as possible and make sure they provide you with a Contract.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love when Brides add keepsakes of loved ones to their Day. I have seen some lovely lockets added to either a flower bouquet or a pair of shoes.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to have a trial with the Bride after an initial consultation via email or phone to find out what kind of style and Makeup wanted for the special day. After the contract is signed and deposit paid I offer a Skincare document for all Brides to get their skin prepped and in the best possible condition for their Wedding Day. I am always available for Brides to contact if they have any questions or concerns in the run up to the special day.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting people and seeing how happy the Bride is at the end.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Start early with skin prep and drink plenty of water. The more looked after your skin is, the more flawless your makeup will be.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I am very organised and arrive early and often bring an assistant if it’s a larger party to ensure the day runs smoothly.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Use Blotting Paper to stop any excess oil coming through as the day goes on and top up your lipstick (both provided in my gift bags).
