What is your most memorable wedding?
A longterm client of mine was married in 2019 in the most beautiful venue! I stayed and got the bride and bridal party ready for 2 celebrations. I even had my own butler to carry my makeup kit!

What about your business are you most proud of?
I built my business from scratch 6 years ago on my own. I pride myself on helping someone express themselves through makeup and take the time to get to know each client.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Organisation! Write a list and tick it off as you go. Join groups on Facebook for weddings they are great for tips and tricks.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
So many but some of my favourites are a picture of a passed loved one in the flowers and seats saved for them. Also a signature sent for the bride, something new that they haven't worn before then that perfume will always remind them of their big day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
On enquiring I like to know as many details as possible. Such as date, location, ceremony time, number of people and their roles (e.g bridesmaids, bride, mother of bride). Then on the trial and beforehand I like to talk about personal style and how they vision having their makeup on the day. I also have brides who have no idea what they want, so at the trial I like to discuss what I would do in my professional opinion.
What do you love most about your job?
The reason I do what I do and love every single day if that I have the ability to make someone feel confident.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Skincare! Find a skincare routine that compliments your skin type. Dry, oily or normal. The better the skin condition the better the makeup will look.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I allow plenty of time to do the brides makeup, as its a busy morning I don't want to be in a rush. I also suggests to brides its sometimes a good idea to go into a separate room to the bridal party to have their makeup done to keep it calm and give an hour or so of quite for what will be a very busy, emotional day for the bride.
