What is your most memorable wedding?
One that always stays in my mind was a couple of years ago at a beautiful rural castle in Argyll. The bride had traveled from Barbados and her style was just out of this world. Everything from her choice of music to walk down the aisle to and her tipi reception venue was just fantastic. She had a great relaxed attitude and the wedding morning was chilled and fun.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud of the reputation I have so far established for myself and continue to build. I adore doing makeup and it is my complete passion but I also want my clients to feel like they have had an amazing service.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
It's never too early to book the suppliers you love!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love when couples pull on their own creative skills to make things for their wedding day. One of my brides recently had made an array of fantastic cakes for her guests.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When a bride contacts me I want to know as much as I can about their wedding. Not just for the logistics but it also gives me a perspective into their own individual style. Normally a trial will be scheduled and we can have the chance to meet and get to know one another a little better and try out your desired makeup look. It's really important for a bride to book with someone who, not only does the beautiful makeup you want, but is also someone you would like to have around with you on your wedding morning. Once the trial is complete the bride knows she is in safe hands. On the big day I will endeavour to be a friendly and calming influence and make sure everything runs smoothly.

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Skincare!!! Please take care of your skin and give your makeup artist the best canvas to work on. The beautiful makeup products will perform so much better with the correct skin prep!
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I have lots of experience with wedding morning and I know how to manage the timing effectively. I will keep things running in a timely fashion. I always bring a fun and relaxed attitude with me and will try my best to ensure the bride is having a fab time. And when the butterflies in the tummy are getting too much... there's always prosecco!
