Katy was a really important part of the morning of my wedding - her diplomatic, calm influence helped make everything run smoothly and she was a simply lovely person to have around. When I started planning my wedding one of the things I was worried about was my makeup. As like they say, a photo lasts forever and I didn't want to look back at mine thinking that they didn't look like me, because I was overly made up. As soon as I had my makeup trial with Katy all these worries disappeared as she made me look and feel absolutely gorgeous. She created (as she always does) a natural makeup look that looked beautiful and photographed amazingly, but still looked like me (well a more beautiful version of me!). The makeup effortlessly lasted all day, looking just as great at the end of the day as it did when I walked down the aisle. On top of making me look amazing Katy made me feel so relaxed on the morning of my wedding, which considering I'm an expert at stressing was no small feat! Her experience made getting ready so enjoyable. She worked closely with my hairdresser and photographer to ensure that everything ran to schedule making it stress free. I really cannot recommend her enough as there's no one else I would have trusted on the biggest day of my life.

I had been quite worried about my wedding make up after a couple of dreadful make overs at beauty counters many years before and years of feeling self conscious about my skin etc. When I met Katy I knew I'd made the right decision; she listened to what I wanted, gave great advice and made me feel completely comfortable. My wedding make up looked and felt great, lasted all day and made me look like a much improved version of myself. Make up aside, Katy is brilliantly funny and was great fun to spend the morning of my wedding day with! I'm still hoping to see her again for a make up lesson one day...

Katy is something quite rare, an accomplished make-up artist who really listens to what you want to look like on your big day, rather than slathering on drag queen amounts of make-up so you look "good for the photos!" She is utterly professional, caring and supportive - as well as fiercely funny! I was pretty nervous about my wedding, I have quite large insecurities about how I look and the thought of 150 people staring at me was daunting to say the least. Katy made me feel like I was the centre of her world as she worked her magic on my face, her attention to detail is quite something, and I never once doubted that I was in good hands. When I first saw how she had made me look, I almost cried, she made me look like how i'd always hoped I could. Like the best version of myself. It's not just about having a bit of lipstick on, or an expertly winged eyeliner - it's so much more. She inspires confidence, makes you look and feel beautiful - and everyone needs a bit of that on their big day. I cannot recommend her highly enough, she is worth every penny and more!

Before I got married I had the total pleasure of working with Katy at several weddings. I worked as the wedding photographer and could see how amazing her work is. When it was my turn to get married there is no-one else I would have trusted to do my make-up. I don't wear much make-up, so it was important to me to have something that looked natural and like me...only better! Katy was a joy to have there on my wedding morning and my bridesmaids loved having her with us too. I cannot recommend her highly enough. xo

What can I say other than Katy made me feel utterly gorgeous on the most special day of my life. During my make up trial, Katy recommend some amazing skin products that would help improve the condition and appearance of my skin, and the results on the day was stunning.
