Hi my name is Lucy
I am a professional makeup artist with over 10 years of experience in the industry. I first trained in London and then worked for some of the best makeup companies all over the south of the UK.
I love the creativity of makeup, allowing women to express themselves whether that be with a bright red lipstick, full evening glamour or a subtle natural look. I love to see the unique beauty in each individual, and using the right make up and techniques I like to enhance this to create a strength of confidence in each and every woman I get to make up.

What is your most memorable wedding?
I honestly couldn’t pick one. I have been so lucky with all my brides. I have been able to build such great relationships with all of them that each one has its own unique memory to me!

I am most proud of how I make people feel from my services. It’s an incredible feeling making someone feel amazing.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Relax and enjoy every moment. It goes so fast, take time to take it all in, it’s the best day of your life!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Every wedding has their own special touches. I think the ones that are meaningful to the bride end groom like an inside joke are the best. That or anything dog related!! (When they walk down the isle)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My typical process would be to have an initial consultation with the bride. Have a chat about her goals, what her wedding plans are, colour themes, what style their dress is, how they want their hair and how they see themselves looking on the day. This way I get a real idea of what type of wedding they desire and I can get an idea of their style.
After that it would be a trial where I will apply their makeup and give any advice for the build up to their big day!
What do you love most about your job?
I love the people I meet and making them feel confident and beautiful in their own skin!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Skin. Skin. Skin. Always always prep and look after your skin! It’s so important! Skin first, makeup after. I am always here to help with skin advice too.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I am very relaxed and bubbly. I love getting to know my brides so they feel totally comfortable with me on the day! I love to create a happy and relaxed environment!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
I always recommend a couple products to top up on the day (depending on skin types etc) their lip product is always needed. This is totally personalised to my bride so hard for me to mention one thing!
