I have so many lovely memories from all the weddings I’ve done but I’ll never forget when I pulled up to a bride’s house, she looked out of the window and fainted because I was the first person she saw on her wedding day and it all of a sudden became very real.
Professional, classic, timeless, current, beautiful
I am most proud of the relationships I have developed with so many people. Contrary to beliefs, I have never met a ‘bridezilla’ and some of my brides are now some of my best friends for life.
A family feud is not your fault and you shouldn’t feel you need to compromise on your guest list for anyone else. If somebody wants to be at your wedding then it is up to them to make the effort.
I think it’s a nice touch when the couple have a gift delivered to each other on the morning of the wedding. Something personal that only the two of you can understand.
Discuss the details about the day - services, times, cost etc..
Pre-wedding trial where we can try out different styles and get to know each other. It’s important you feel comfortable with somebody who is about to spend a long time very close to your face!
Wedding day - hair, makeup, fun, laughs!
I love making people feel beautiful and confident on their wedding day .. but mostly I love to hear all the gossip from the hen night haha!
Skin care is so important in the weeks/months before your wedding day. Keep your skin hydrated and protected with SPF, this will help your makeup to sit nicely.
Not a personal recommendation but I find that alcohol usually plays a role in helping calm people’s nerves on their wedding day haha!
I’d probably recommend a little walk, or taking yourself out of them room for a bit of breathing space.
Keep cool and hydrated. A little compact powder and lipstick is always nice for a top-up.
