Lillie Lindh Makeup Artist Full Description
I am a make up artist who trained in New York and is now based in London. I am happy to travel as far a field as needed and to date have done weddings across the UK and much of Europe. I fully understands the importance of achieving the perfect look for you on your wedding day. I will listen closely to your requirements, discussing the theme of your wedding, location, colours, flowers, your dress and more to gain a full understanding of you and your day. On the trial you can try out different ideas so that on the big day you can fully relax knowing you are going to look and feel your most beautiful. I am happy to do groups if you also have bridesmaids or family who would like makeup. I also style hair upon request.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like to meet up with the bride for a trial about 3 months before the wedding but I understand sometimes this isn't possible and it needs to be nearer the wedding day or people are excited and want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. So I try to be very flexible and work around what works best for the bride. Grooms are very welcome at the trial if that is what the couple would like. Otherwise often mother's or bridesmaids come along as it never hurts to get a second opinion but I will often just meet the bride one on one as well. Once the trial is complete and we have found the perfect look for the bride I won't see them again until the wedding day but I do stay in touch and am always available for any questions they may have in the run up.

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting new people and making them look and feel their best.

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?

If you are going to have facials before your wedding day start having them well in advance so your skin has time to get used to the process. Facials can cause breakouts, especially if they're not something you usually do. If you just want to have one in the run up to your wedding day do it at least two weeks before so your skin has time to recover if it does break out.

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

I like to do everyone's makeup in a room out of the way, if possible. The fewer people rushing around the bride the better, so somewhere is a little quieter and calmer, so they can relax.

What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?

Keep a concealer, powder and of course your chosen lipstick to hand for touch ups throughout the day. However, only touch up if you really need it, eg if there have been some tears etc, you want your makeup to stay looking light and fresh not cakey and over powdered.
