What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book your HMUA at least 6 months in advance to ensure you secure your preferred artist/stylist.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
They are all different and personal touches are the loveliest moments, sometimes the bride receives gifts from their forever love along with love letters. That’s always adorable and a real awwww moment. Personal touches are an opportunity to build real feel good memories into your day. Lovely 💗
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Usually it’s a two way conversation that’s focussed on their overall vision and style and how makeup will compliment that. Creating the look together with client input and ideas is great and it also builds trust. A makeup (and hair) trial follows and then the bride books her wedding date and the rest of the wedding party makeups, exclusively to my calendar with payment.
What do you love most about your job?
All of it, from the initial makeup trial thru to the wedding day, it’s such a privilege to step into the Brides preparation space and see her begin to grow in confidence and positively glow with happiness when she sees herself finally ready. It’s the sweetest moment and the absolute best job on the planet.💗
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Drink lots of water and take care of your skin prior to your Wedding Day.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
This is one of my top testimonial feedbacks. I exude calmness. When a bride is in prep with me, it’s a time for them to relax, breathe and enjoy being pampered, so she can prepare herself in her own mind for the beautiful day/evening ahead.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Always top up lipstick in between signing the register and having photos taken.
Have your Maid of Honour carry your compact mirror & lipstick for you.
Ensure their forever love has tissues with them when saying their special words to each other, they are nearly always needed.
