Lauren Irwin Hair and Make-up Artist

Lauren - on my special day, you were fab. From the moment you showed up, smiling and happy (even at the most ungodly hour) to the moment I left to get married. Lauren made me and my bridal party feel like princesses, and managed to perfectly pin the most wriggly flower girls hair so well it stayed in all day (even through a nap!). I’m really quite picky with my hair and makeup, but Lauren nailed it first time, I’ve never been more confident than I did that day. My hair stayed in through to the grim end, when I’d been getting all sweaty at the disco, and being thrown around in numerous lifts during my first dance. The makeup also remained sturdy! I felt at ease talking to Lauren, she’s very approachable, and will chat with you like a friend, which is reassuring to say the least. She’s also very good at helping you work out how to plug in the coffee machine. I don’t know what else to say, apart from if you’re here, and looking, you’ll be silly not to book.

Hi Lauren We’re back from honeymoon now and back to real life post-wedding so I just wanted to drop you a little note to say thank you so much for doing our hair and make up on our wedding day last month. It was so lovely having you and Sophia there to help us get ready on the morning of the wedding at Lanwades Hall, you both made us all feel really at ease. And I was so happy with my hair and makeup – it was exactly how I’d imagined it! Thanks for all of your help and advice in the trial and on the day as we decided what would be best for the various hairstyles for myself and the bridesmaids. Hi Lauren, a HUGE thank you to you and Sophie transforming my bridesmaids and I on Saturday for my wedding. Lauren did my hair and make up on my wedding day last 12th Feb 2016 and all I can say is she nailed the hairstyle and the make up look that I wanted. I booked her a week before my wedding day and her website (which is the only means how I found her) helped me a lot on my decision. It was a very crucial time and also the difficulties of looking for a good make up artist is not that easy as we live abroad, pushing my luck on it as am running out of time I confirmed appointment with Lauren and after the hair and make up trial (day before my wedding), I can say I found the BEST! Her website and her Pinterest page helped me hugely on deciding what I want and also with her professional tips and advices it made all the difference. I loved her to bits and will definitely recommend her for brides to be.

On Friday my daughter got married - Lauren styled her hair and did her makeup, also the bridesmaids - the result was stunning! Lauren did my hair and make up for my wedding in November 2015. She also did my bridesmaid and several family members hair and make up. Lauren was great, she really listened to what we were asking for, making sure everyone was happy.
