Laura Anne Hair and Makeup Designer

Laura was wonderful and calming when my wedding nerves kicked in. She did hair and make up for me and my sisters and it amazingly lasted all day, including through all the dancing! I was worried about finding someone who can work with Asian skin tones as wedding make up is often over the top (I very rarely wear make up). I really needn’t have worried as Laura did a fab job - tailoring her style to suit three of us with different tastes! Even when I changed my mind about my hair style on the day, she was so accommodating. Thanks so much Laura!

I'm the first to admit I'm not the best at makeup, and I wear very little on a daily basis (eyeliner and mascara only). I told Laura that and voiced all my concerns, and she was so understanding and ensured I was first and foremost comfortable with the amount of makeup I had on. She is also so personable and warm and funny, which made the trial and the actual day very relaxed and friendly. She and her team were so professional and so skilled. My bridesmaids, my mother and I looked beautiful yet very natural; just how I'd imagined we'd look on the day.

Laura did such a fabulous job at my wedding, I just can't rave about her highly enough. She guided me to exactly the look I wanted and made me feel totally at ease throughout the whole process. One of my bridesmaids told me later that she preffered the hair and make up Laura did for her over her own wedding day, and if you knew my BM you would know what a huge compliment that is! She was just fab!

Laura Anne was just the type of person I wanted as a stylist. I rarely go to salons and am not very make-up savvy, so was wary that we would have nothing to talk about but Laura was fantastic. Very fun and down-to-earth stylist that wants to make you look you best whilst not comprimising on any of your personality or choices. The second stylist and assistants which Laura brought with her were also very friendly and fantastic at what they do.

Laura went massively above and beyond. I had a major wobble three weeks before the wedding and she calmly fitted me in for an additional trial before the big day, she was so gracious despite this being mid summer when she must have been so busy.

Having Laura Anne as my hair and make-up stylist was an absolute joy, I couldn't have been happier. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Laura Anne added so much value to my whole wedding experience. She listened to exactly what I wanted/didn't want; was extremely knowledgeable, and very professional. During the trial she gave me information about things i wouldn't have otherwise thought of, and on the day was so calm and organised that our experience in the morning was so much better than it would have otherwise been! Everyone was very pleased with their hair and make up. I've recommended her to everyone!

Mayra was amazing. As soon as I met her at my trial I knew I had really lucked out with a gem! It felt like I was getting ready with a friend and she was the most accommodating and easy person to work with. She did an amazing amazing job of everything. I still look at the pictures and can't believe hat an incredible job she did. She planned everything to a t and there is absolutely nothing I would do differently if I was to do it all again. I'd recommend her a 1000 times.

Laura is fantastic – I cannot recommend her enough. She so happy & fun – defiantly the girl you want with you on the morning of your big day. Bot only that she is amazingly talented, I was amazed that she could create any look asked.

Laura is extremely friendly and professional, she goes out of her way to make sure that a bride's hair not only complements their face but also the 'style' of their wedding day. Laura is really easy to talk to and listens to your 'vision' and then creates the perfect style from this. My hair received so many compliments even though I completely changed my mind from my hair trial and sprung it upon Laura on the morning of my wedding and she was completely unflustered. Lovely and so talented!
