What is your most memorable wedding?
The first wedding will probably always remain as the most memorable: I was so excited and so nervous about doing makeup for the first real bride!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Sophisticated, natural, elegant, timeless, anti-aging
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am proud to have so many positive testimonials continuously flowing from our happy brides who were so pleased to receive exceptional service and makeup & hair styling from my team and myself.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book the most important wedding suppliers as much in advance as possible so that you don't end up having to compromise on quality. The best suppliers get booked up around 2 years in advance so it's never too early to start planning ahead.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are so many! But a beautifully written card that gets the tears going will always do it for me.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We recommend that our brides-to-be get in touch with us as early as 12-18 months in advance to ensure that we have availability for hair and makeup on their wedding day. Our helpful and friendly PA Jurate is always very efficient in handling all inquiries and guiding our brides through the booking process. Once the wedding day booking is confirmed, we recommend that makeup & hair trials are booked around 3-6 months in advance of the wedding in order for the bride to try out her bridal look.
What do you love most about your job?
Making women look and feel the best they ever did!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Get the best makeup artist and hairstylist you can! Why take a chance and risk looking anything less than awesome when everything else you so meticulously planned looks pristine? When thinking about your wedding budget why would you want to save on the cost of makeup and/or hair – when your face will be looked at the most throughout your wedding day, not to mention in the pictures for ever after?‘
