What to Expect
Every booking begins with an enquiry through my website, where I'll take the time to understand your wedding vision before anything else. Your trial takes place at my Surrey studio roughly three to six months before your wedding day — giving you enough time afterwards to choose your accessories and veil with your hairstyle already decided, so everything comes together beautifully. After your trial, you'll receive a detailed prep guide and morning schedule so that when the big day arrives, there's nothing left to think about except how beautiful you feel.
I also work with a trusted second stylist for larger bridal parties, so the morning stays calm and on schedule no matter how many people need to be aisle-ready.
A Little About Me
When I'm not pinning the perfect updo, you'll find me at my allotment, deep in a knitting project, or hiking the Surrey Hills with my partner Dan and inevitably coming home to be judged by Scarlett, my rescue black cat. I'm a true coffee lover, which makes those early wedding morning call times considerably more manageable.

How far in advance should I book you?
Ideally between 6 and 18 months before your wedding day. Surrey dates fill up quickly, especially for summer and autumn weekends, and I take a limited number of weddings each year to make sure every bride gets my full, unhurried attention. If your date is sooner than that, it's always worth getting in touch — I may still have availability.
What happens at the trial?
Your trial is honestly one of my favourite parts of the whole process. We spend around two hours together at my studio in Walton-on-Thames, trying your chosen look and making sure it feels completely you. It's relaxed, there's no rushing, and you leave knowing exactly what your wedding morning hair will look like. I'll send you a prep guide beforehand so you arrive ready to get the most out of our time together.
When should I book my trial?
Roughly three to six months before your wedding day is the sweet spot. It gives us enough time to perfect your look and then allows you to choose your veil and accessories with your hairstyle already decided, so everything comes together as one beautiful, cohesive vision.
I have fine hair. Will my style actually last the day?
Absolutely. Fine hair is something I work with all the time and honestly, some of the most beautiful updos I've ever created have been on the finest hair. My approach is built on professional prep and the right products and techniques, so your style will survive every hug, Surrey breeze, and happy tear. We'll talk through your hair type in detail at your trial so you leave feeling completely confident.
How do I prepare my hair for the wedding morning?
I'll send you a detailed Prep PDF ahead of your wedding morning with clear, easy-to-follow instructions so there's no guesswork involved. Generally it involves a double shampoo and a light blow-dry the evening before, and arriving on the morning with dry hair and something that buttons or zips up at the front. The last thing we want is a gorgeous updo ruined by a pullover!
Do you travel to the venue?
Yes, I'm fully mobile and come to you on your wedding morning. I work on location across Surrey, Hampshire and the surrounding counties. Travel is factored into your booking, and I'll always arrive with plenty of time to set up before we begin.
Can you accommodate a large bridal party?
Absolutely. For larger groups or very early ceremony times, I can bring along a trusted second stylist to make sure the morning stays calm, joyful, and perfectly on schedule. You focus on your bubbles and your people — I'll handle the rest.
What's your cancellation policy?
I ask for a deposit to secure your date, which gives you peace of mind that your booking is confirmed and gives me the security to turn away other enquiries for that day. Full details are shared at the point of booking and I'm always happy to talk things through if your circumstances change.
What makes you different from other bridal hair stylists?
Honestly? It's the morning. Anyone can create beautiful hair. What I care about just as much is how you feel during those few hours before you walk down the aisle. I arrive calm, I work quietly and efficiently, and I genuinely love being a small part of one of the biggest days of your life. Brides often tell me afterwards that having me there made the morning feel relaxed in a way they hadn't expected. That means everything to me.
