Katy Djokic Hair & Makeup

Katy is super nice, relaxed and patient. She gave me plenty of time and was happy to try a few different things during the trial so I could decide what I wanted – which is really helpful if you’re not sure. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed and Katy always asks if you’re happy along the way and adjusts accordingly. On my wedding day, Katy and her assistant (who did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and was also wonderful!) arrived in plenty of time as promised and Katy had notes from the trial so knew what the plan was. Katy also did my mum’s hair and makeup – without a trial beforehand – but she allowed plenty of time for this and did a really lovely natural look for my mum, just as she wanted. I can’t recommend Katy enough – I’d have her do my hair and makeup every day if I could!

I just wanted to send you a quick message to say a massive thank you for everything on my wedding day on Thursday!! I was SO happy with my final wedding look and all of the girls looked incredible too - the make up actually stayed put the whole day even with 32 degree heat - I didn’t think that was possible!! And my hair was absolutely perfect, it looked amazing all day, even once the veil was taken out! Thank you also for being so calm and lovely to be around - it really added to the wedding morning and I’m so grateful that you were a part of it! Katy did my hair and make up for my wedding and it was fantastic! I only needed one trial and that was perfect as she listened to exactly what I wanted for my big day and created the style perfectly.

Katy is such a professional and so brilliant at what she does. I was looking for a very pretty, natural hairstyle for my wedding day - Katy worked her magic and created a beautiful style that lasted all day and was just what I had pictured. She also did the hair of my bridesmaids and they were thrilled as well! Katy is so lovely and is a very calming influence - my wedding morning was so relaxed. From the very first 'hello' to the day of my wedding she was fantastic - answering any questions I had and even recommending some products for me to use for my make up (I did my own make up on the day). I loved the styles on Katy's website - exactly what I was after. I loved the fact she did hair and make up and both to a really high standard. She was also really flexible with me as we were a little outside the zone she covered. Additionally, the prices she charged were more than acceptable, and she even included a blow dry for my sister in law free of charge, which was so appreciated as my sister in law was singing a solo during the ceremony. We married in the summer at a working vineyard - so a fairly rustic setting and I was after a relaxed up do and summery make up that lasted all day. It was exactly what Katy created. At the trial Katy gave me as much time as I wanted to try different styles - although I just loved the very first style she created, which was spot on from the pictures I showed her. She also tested different colours for my make up - eyes and lips, to really make my features stand out. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone looking to book wedding hair and make up. I felt at my most beautiful on the day and that was precisely down to her incredible work.

Katy had been great from the start with the initial trial, she got exactly what I was looking for from pictures I shared. The trial was very comprehensive and Katy would try lots of different options to ensure I was 100% happy. Katy tried different eyeshadow options until we found the perfect match for my skin tone. Katy was very knowledgeable and sharing general makeup tips, she's very bubbly and easy to speak to. I felt 100% confident that Katy was the right person for my bridal party and me. With Katy I always felt she was passionate about what she was doing and wanted to make sure I was pleased with everything. So pleased that you were able to help on such an important day.

I loved the hair and make up that Katy did for the BMaids and I! Not only was she great at her job, she is a massively calming presence for me to have around in the morning, even when things got hectic towards the end, which was massively appreciated
