What is your most memorable wedding?
A lovely client I did back in 2021. She was previous client of mine for a regular glam then she asked me to do her wedding makeup which felt like such an honour that she had trusted me to do most important makeup. It was a beautiful venue called Dodmoor house in Northamptonshire, everyone was in great spirits, it was such a beautiful day.

What about your business are you most proud of?
I am a ‘mum in business’. My daughter was born December 2021 so I pride myself on still being able to work whilst being a mum.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Use an excel spreadsheet to write down your full budget including sub categorises to make sure you know what value spending more on what.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I seen that someone had done a ‘newspaper’ article on the timeline of their relationship for everyone to have. It was amazingly presented and such an amazing personal touch!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The likelihood I will only deal with the bride. The bride will enquire to me about the date, no of guests, location etc. i will then check my diary for availability then provide a quote. If the bride is happy with the quote we then proceed to book in a trial. This is such an important step because then we will take our time to create the perfect canvas I.e YOU. We will go through a full consultation on how you feel your most beautiful and what your likes and dislikes are after the trial and once your happy with your look we then book in your wedding date.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the transformation from beginning to end and making someone feel the most beautiful they have ever felt and playing a part in that.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Go for a look you have felt your prettiest and a look which is timeless. Makeup ‘trends’ are a trend for a reason, they date. You want to make sure you still love your wedding pictures in 15 years time.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Always read the room, some brides don’t want to talk, some do. Being attentive is super important - we are hired as the makeup artist but I have free hands and someone’s dress needs tightening then I will be involved.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
With my services I provide a free mac lipstick in order for you to top up your lipstick, eyelash glue just incase they need a little reseal. If you tend to get oily I recommend a powder puff just to blot your face throughout the day. If you’re dry then a good hydrating face spray!
