What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Lists, lists & more lists! Check lists are sooo important. Create a list of all the essential services you're going to need and the rest will click into place along the way.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I came across an idea of projecting a sideshow of the couples favourite photos including closest friends & family. Such a lovely touch and a great talking point for guests.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First of all we will have a good chat on the phone whilst arranging your trial. We'll talk about what styles you're interested in, whether you're having any hair accessories/veil so that I can be prepared for the trial. Following that conversation we can then look at confirming your wedding date in my diary.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being creative and I love the romance that a wedding brings to the table. Being able to incorporate thise two things into my work AND make a bride and her tribe feel beautiful is just such a pleasure.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Make sure you're comfortable. You want to feel special but don't do anything that doesn't feel like 'you'.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Number 1: I stay calm no matter what. There is nothing that can go so wrong that it can't be fixed. Everything will always work out OK.
Number 2: I'm happy to talk about anything. People always say hairdressers double up as therapists! I'm not just here to do your hair, I'm here to help in anyway I can.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Talk to me, your makeup artist and your bridesmaids about looking after your hair & makeup throughout the day. As your hair stylist, I'm happy to arrange a small bag of emergency supplies and I can talk you and your tribe through how to fix anything that may go slightly astray! However, my intentions when I do your hair is to make sure that doesn't happen! But it's best to be prepared for everything!
