Honestly, every wedding I’m lucky enough to be part of is incredible and memorable in its own way. Each bride, each couple, and each celebration brings something unique and special.

What about your business are you most proud of?
What I’m most proud of is the trust my brides place in me. Being welcomed into their wedding morning, hearing their stories, their excitement (and a few nerves!) is such an honour. Knowing that their hair still looks beautiful after the happy tears, endless hugs, and a full night of dancing means so much to me.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start thinking about your bridal hair early, but don’t feel you have to lock every detail straight away. Give yourself time to gather inspiration and discover what truly feels like you. In your hair trial, we’ll explore styles and textures until we find the one that best complements your features, your dress and the overall vibe.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
It’s always so special when brides weave something personal into their day; a hairpiece made from a loved one’s brooch, tiny charms tucked into bouquets, or even handwritten notes sewn into a dress. Those small details carry so much heart and make the day feel truly magical.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
1. Enquiry & Initial Chat - I love hearing all about your wedding, everything from your venue and dress to your bridal party and the overall vibe of your day. This helps me create a personalised quote just for you and ensures I understand your vision right from the start.
2. Deposit & Terms - Once you’re ready to book, I ask for a £100 deposit and signed T&Cs to secure your date. From there, we can start planning all the lovely details together.
3. Inspiration & Mood Board - Ahead of your trial, I love when my brides share with me their inspiration images and ideas, it’s such a great way to see what you’re drawn to. This also helps us refine your vision and build a clear picture of your perfect bridal look.
4. Hair Trial - I recommend booking your hair trial around 2-3 months before your wedding. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours and offers a relaxed opportunity to explore a few different looks, experiment with accessories, and perfect your chosen style. Trials usually take place at my home in Harrogate (or nearby, if that’s more convenient). During your appointment, I’ll also share personalised hair care advice and preparation tips to ensure your hair is at its best in the lead-up to your big day.
5. Planning & Logistics - Behind the scenes, I coordinate all the timings, travel details, and styling for your bridal party. I also prepare everything you might need on the day, from pins and sprays to touch-up kits and accessories, so everything runs smoothly and stress-free.
6. Wedding Day - I arrive with calm, positive energy and set up my mobile styling station. My focus is on making you and your bridal party feel relaxed, confident, and beautiful. I’ll keep the morning running seamlessly and make sure you’re picture-perfect before you walk down the aisle.
7. Aftercare & Support - I’ll share simple tips to help your hair stay gorgeous through every hug, tear, and dance. And if you ever need advice or a quick fix after the day, I’m always happy to help.

It’s such a privilege to play even a small part in one of life’s most meaningful days. Every bride, every wedding, every story is different and that beautiful individuality is what keeps me endlessly inspired.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
In the lead up to your big day, keeping your hair in great condition through conditioning treatments, great products and regular cuts makes all the difference. Hydrate from the inside out, drink plenty of water, and nourish your hair so it’s healthy, shiny, and strong. When your hair is well-prepped, styling becomes effortless, and your final look will flow naturally and beautifully.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Whether it’s listening to your favourite music, sharing all the exciting details of your wedding, or simply enjoying a cup of tea (or a glass of fizz) while I style your hair, I love creating a calm bubble around the bride on her wedding morning.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
A few simple things can help you feel your very best throughout your wedding day when it comes to your hair. Keep a small emergency touch-up kit on hand (pins, mini hairspray, a few bobby pins, and a small comb). Have a trusted friend or bridesmaid ready to help with any quick fixes, and most importantly, remember to smile, breathe, and enjoy every moment.
