What is your most memorable wedding?
There have been so many! Perhaps a woodland themed wedding in West Wales complete with crazy colourful makeup for the bride in a handmade blue dress or the uber bling wedding in a very large private house in Bristol that turned into a pool party. From chic to shabby chic and vintage to vogue they all have their special moment!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Modern. Individual. Fresh. Natural. Edgy.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The many hundreds of happy bridal clients over the years. Making people happy never gets boring!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't stress about the small stuff. Keep happy and have fun. Don't let it become a hassle!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Everything handmade. The love, time and effort is overwhelming and you can FEEL the love in the room when so much has been put in to it.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually only get to meet the ladies! We meet for a consultation and trial and go from there.. no obligation to book.
What do you love most about your job?
Making people feel great about themselves and meeting so many wonderful women!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Drink water and if you don't have a beauty routine - start one! It's never too late, introduce an exfoliator and a serum but keep it light to avoid breakouts.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I am a calm person by nature and I think stressful energy travels around a room pretty fast. I am always a smiling face and sitting with me for an hour having makeup applied gives the bride a chance to actually stop for a little bit of 'me time' on the morning.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Have fun! That's all that matters.. as well as having great professional makeup applied so you don't have to think about it again! A touch of powder or a slick of lippy is all that's needed!
