A wedding where I had to get the Bride and her bridal party ready in a small room, with no air conditioning and in an English heatwave!
Natural, Enhancing, Elegant, Beautiful and Sophisticated.
After being a secondary school teacher for 16 years, I am proud to have had the confidence to retrain and own a business that I love and enjoy!
When booking venues, make sure you consider where you will be the morning of the wedding. Some venues have a late morning check-in time and this can have a big impact on how smooth your morning runs. Brides stay at the venue the night before if you can so you and your bridal party can get ready without any added stress.
A bride had a personal message for her husband hidden on the bottom of her shoes. This was to be revealed with the photographer after the ceremony.
We begin by discussing your requirements for the day, including Wedding date, venue, time of the ceremony and number of people to have their makeup done. Once everything has been agreed between us, a deposit is taken to secure your Wedding date. I will then meet with the Bride-to-be for a makeup trial and consultation. This is when we will discuss your individual style and trial a makeup look. Finally and most importantly I will meet with the Bride and her Bridal Party on the morning of the Wedding, to make them all look and feel radiantly confident!
There is nothing more rewarding than watching a person's confidence shine through as they look at themselves in the mirror and to know that you have made them feel like that! I feel so honoured to be a part of a Brides big day and I always leave with the biggest smile on my face.
A good skincare routine is a must! The key to fabulous, long lasting makeup is great skin!
I have everything from my kit to makeup timings for the Bride and her bridal party well organised before the big day. I make sure time runs as smoothly as possible for the people in my chair and I use my friendly, caring personality and sense of humour to keep the atmosphere positive and fun!
Very little should be needed. I recommend you just keep some powder or blotting papers with you in case of any shine and your lipstick to top it up.
