The most memorable wedding i did was at Lympne castle in Kent. It was a beautiful summers day and i was doing the makeup on the bride and 4 bridesmaids. So obviously we had to start very early with glam just so we weren't being rushed as i am a perfectionist and i wanted everyone to look perfect as on such a special day you want the bride to be happy as wedding photos last for a long time and you want the bride to feel confident.
Hard working, polite, caring, well spoken & smart
I am proud of my whole business. I've built it from the ground up and all on my own. Looking back on the 8 years I've been doing makeup i am over the moon with the comments and portfolio I've built up.
Give yourself plenty of time to plan especially when looking for a makeup artist. As you spend a lot of time finding the right products that suit your desired look and products you don't react to. Plus tweaking the look until you're happy.
A plane flew over the venue in honour of the bride. It was just spectacular!!
Emailing to sort a date out to meet. Meet the bride and talk about what they want and what offer before doing a trial. Once the bride is happy i write down products and take photos to remember what we created together.
What i love the most about my job is meeting new people all the time.
My best beauty tip for all brides is to treat yourself to a facial a week prior to the wedding just so you can get your skin looking its absolute best so when it comes to applying the makeup it sits better on the brides skin.
I make the bride laugh, something I've been told i'm good at.
Have a small touch up bag with a few makeup essentials and to also ask your bridesmaids to keep an eye out if makeup needs to be touched up.
