Claire Jane's Totally You

Totally Flawless were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I chose Helen to do hair and makeup for my wedding. I had a trial hair and makeup session first. Helen really listened to my ideas and gave me natural looking makeup and a messy bun with a plait and they were exactly how I imagined they would be. On the big day Helen brought Olivia with her as there were several people in my bridal party. Both Helen and Olivia were relaxed, friendly and helpful and at the end of the session we all looked amazing! Helen even helped do up the tiny buttons on the back of my dress as my wedding party were struggling. Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful we all looked. I couldn't have picked better people to do our hair and makeup.

One of the very best decisions I made for my wedding back in August 2019 was choosing Totally Flawless for the hair and make up for myself, three bridesmaids and my Mum. It was a destination wedding in France and we flew Claire and Helen out for the weekend. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Cool, calm and collected throughout the whole process and the results were simply stunning. They just "got me" from day one and were so flexible and lovely - I truly couldn't have been happier with my hair and make up. It's now coming up to the first anniversary of the wedding and looking back on those photos I am still so, so happy with the finished looks - the girls at TF are amazingly talented and really know their stuff - true experts in their field. As an added bonus- they are also lots of fun and just the type of girls you want with you on the most fun/tense/happy/stressful morning of your life!

Our wedding was in August 2019 and after finding Totally Flawless through Instagram (I searched #hampshireweddinghairstylist or something similar) I booked promptly. Their beautiful work through pictures and reviews speak for themselves but I wanted to add another. The team were all super professional and lovely when in communication with them as well as efficient. Myself and my 4 bridesmaids decided to just have our hair done on the day and we had the AMAZING Georgina. I also had a trial done a few months before so it was lovely to meet Georgina and talk about my vision for the wedding and see the gorgeous studio. On the morning of the wedding Georgina was very punctual and just immediately put us all at ease. She was so calm and sweet and did our hair BEAUTIFULLY. She also helped my sister with her clip in hair extensions and hid them perfectly, my sister, who is vey hard to please, was so happy with her hair and it all stayed in place the whole time. We were all so pleased and Georgina was very efficient with the hair too. She followed us to the wedding venue and did my hair there and stayed with us until it was almost time for the ceremony to start which was so lucky as she was on hand to help with a champagne bottle explosion and helping the mother of the brides fit their fascinators securely! And to do anymore last minute touch ups and clips in our hair. Thank you Totally Flawless team you are all amazing and a special shout out to Georgina!!!

Claire was great from start to finish, from the booking process to the minute I put my dress on! The whole process was easy, very good value for money & myself and bridesmaid all felt a million dollars! Even at short notice Claire managed to add my mother in law in for make up which was a huge weight off my mind! I would highly recommend Claire & her team! So glad I chose the Claire & her team to do my wedding!

I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to Georgina who did my wedding hair this summer. I am SO SO SO happy with how my hair turned out and honestly received so many compliments throughout the day. I've also recommended Georgina to my friend who is getting married next year as she adored my hair! The hair stayed put beautifully throughout the day and looked classy, natural and pulled together all at the same time! :) Thank you. Also I'd like to say.... the morning of getting ready was quite stressful (lol), but getting my hair done by Georgina was the most peace-giving experience. She even stayed around patiently until I got my makeup done to put the flowers in so that they would last longer throughout the day. It's the little things that really make a huge difference!

Totally Flawless we’re fab! From the day of the trial when they encouraged me to try a hair piece which I then wore on my wedding day...to on the day of my wedding they were professional and helpful at all times. The girls arrived dead on time on the day and chatted away to my bridesmaids whilst doing their hair and make up, always checking now and again to make sure my bridesmaids were happy with what they were doing. They made me and my bridesmaids feel very relaxed and we loved the final looks. Thank you very much.

My hair and makeup artist was Claire, the CEO of Totally Flawless. I spent forever looking for the right person and was let down three times before I stumbled across the Totally Flawless website. Thankfully, Claire had my date free and I booked her after being impressed by her previous work and by her competitive prices. During my trial Claire ferried me to and from Basingstoke station as I can't drive (which she didn’t have to do at all!). She listened to exactly what I wanted in regards to my hair and makeup and made adjustments accordingly until I was completely happy. I have Autism Spectrum Disorder but Claire made me feel completely comfortable. It was like talking to a friend the whole time. She’s a lot of fun to be around! On the day itself she arrived promptly and was so cheerful and calm in a room of girls who were a little stressed at times. She did two of my bridesmaids hair (one with makeup too) and they looked so perfect, exactly as the reference pictures they provided her. She truly is a talented person to be able to create complicated plaited hairstyles on the fly! She also offered hair curling advice when she saw that my two other bridesmaids were struggling with their curling iron and helped put wired flowers into their hair which, again, was not something she had to do. We fell a little behind schedule due to fitting in getting me and the girls dressed and eating breakfast but that didn’t phase Claire at all. She stayed later to help me put my veil on and even helped me into my shoes! I was so happy when I looked in the mirror and saw my completed bridal self. My style icon for the day was Princess Grace Kelly and I felt Claire had definitely captured that classic fifties look I was after. I felt beautiful and, for someone who generally dislikes their appearance, this is nothing short of marvellous. I got compliments about how ‘flawless’ my makeup was all day (this word was literally used!) I would recommend Claire to anyone in the Basingstoke/Winchester area looking for a highly professional, talented and friendly hair and makeup artist. She goes above and beyond for her clients!

After going for a bridal hair and make-up trial we locked down the perfect look. On my wedding day I never felt more amazing and flawless! Claire is a lovely person and would definitely recommend to everyone!

I was lucky enough to have the amazingly talented Claire do mine, my bridesmaids and my mums makeup on my wedding day. I couldn’t have been happier with how we looked, and we all felt amazing ❤️ I loved it so much that I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the day! I wish you could do my makeup everyday.
