Claire Guy Bridal Hair and Makeup

Claire came highly recommended by a friend. From first contact, Claire is friendly and organised. First visit to her home for hair and make-up trials, Claire put me at ease being so friendly. She's clearly a professional who knows her stuff. I was so badly prepared, hadn't thought much about what I wanted and Claire made everything feel effortlessly easy and not rushed at all. We had a lovely time on the trial day so leaving me really relaxed and trusting completely in Claire for the wedding day. Claire though then takes it to another level on the day, she's not just hair and make up (as if that isn't enough!) she gave out so much good advice from her experience of doing this for many years. She helped me relax during the morning because she made me feel like a friend there with me, she's got you, checking in with you all the time and reassuring you with her lovely manner and personality. She has exactly the right balance of friendliness and professionalism; helping calm down any nervous bride! One of my bridesmaids had her hair up and my Maid of Honour had hers half up/down and curled. Both looked amazing and stayed in perfectly all the way to the end when we'd all been on the dance floor bouncing around for hours! My hair was down (shoulder length) and I had it curled. I have the finest of hair and being an 'older' bride, find my hair isn't in such good condition as it used to be but oh my word, Claire made my hair look like it had volume and the soft curls stayed on all day and night. No curls dropped and no extensions added to give it volume; all my own hair made to look super full with Claire's creativity and a few miracle working hair products! I was equally super happy with my make-up. It was natural looking but enough coverage to hide the imperfections! Having just seen the professional photos, Claire clearly is a little miracle worker as I definitely look younger and the make up held so well. No reapplying required and good job too as the day rushes by and want to be there for all the special moments. Can't thank Claire enough for all she did and made our morning getting-ready experience a memorable one for all the right reasons. I would highly recommend this lady! Don't look at anyone else! But get in quick, quite rightly, she's in demand. An absolute gem!

Claire was amazing on my wedding day. She kept everyone calm and all the bridesmaids commented on how lovely she was and how well she did on all their different hair and makeup. I changed my mind last minute on my hair but she did an amazing job without a trial on it - it was perfect. Loved my make up too, would highly recommend.

If you are looking for somebody amazing to do your hair, Claire really is the person. She was fantastic from start to finish, communication was excellent and she was patient during the trial when I didn’t know what I wanted. On the day she was on time and was even able to adjust the original style to suit me more and it looked incredible! It stayed in all day and I had lots of lovely compliments throughout the day! Claire did my bridal hair, 2 bridesmaids hair and my mum’s hair too. Claire also went above and beyond and helped me into my dress and didn’t leave until we were fully ready to go! She is a wonderful person and you won’t regret choosing her for your special occasion!

Honestly Claire was a joy to have the morning of my wedding. Claire with last minute decorating, helping me into my dress and being a voice of calm. My wedding was the first I'd been to and Claire ensured the morning ran smoothly. Not only was Claire professional, she was chatty and friendly which was very settling. My hair, my MOH's hair and bridesmaids hair all stayed in throughout the day, was still curly DAYS later and was not damaged at all. I only wish bridebook would let me upload more photos!

Claire was outstanding. From initial contact leaving me feeling like I had known her for years, to my trial where she helped me feel at ease and happily made any adaptations to create my dream look. On our wedding day she arrived on time with a smile, despite the early morning, and made all 10 of us look amazing. She even went above and beyond to help with sorting our flowers and helping fasten my dress. Our hair and make up lasted all day, with no exceptions, and stood up to the test of dancing on a hot day. We can't thank Claire enough for her amazing service and I would highly reccomend her to anyone!

Claire was amazing throughout the whole process. She has been informative, friendly and professional throughout. I absolutely loved my bridal hair, and she did an incredible job with my mums and bridesmaids hairs as well. Claire went above and beyond, even helping with my dress. Claire was the hair stylist at my friends wedding, she did the best job at making everyone feel calm and really glamed our hair up. I was worried about mine as it’s usually frizzy, but my hair stayed in all day and looked amazing! She gave so many good hair tips to take away with me. Not only did she do our hair, but she also helped run around after us doing up shoes, necklaces, anything! I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of booking for a special occasion or your wedding day.

Claire is amazing, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She styled the hair for me and my bridal party on my wedding day, and we were all over the moon with the results. My curls stayed perfect all day (and even the next!), and everyone was thrilled with their hairstyles. She went above and beyond, even helping me put my veil on and giving me top tips to keep everything looking flawless.
