What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
As soon as your wedding date is booked start researching and booking your suppliers, popular dates with some suppliers can be booked sometimes 2 years in advance. It's important to book ahead even for the smaller parts of your wedding.

At a recent wedding the clients used their finger prints placed in a heart shape throughout the wedding. I thought this was a lovely personal touch, that I'd never seen before. Look very effective but yet it was so personal to them.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The date is held by the bride sometimes 2 years in advance, it's never to early to get in touch to hold your date. A pre-wedding trial is a must as it is important to get the look correct for the special day, also to ensure everything wears perfectly on your skin. We will talk through the logistics for your wedding morning.
I suggest trials take place around three months before your wedding.
During our first meeting we will discuss your wedding in detail. I love hearing all about the wedding this helps me build up an idea of how you want to look on your big day. Feel free to bring photos of anything to do with the wedding and ideas for makeup, we can discuss these further and create the perfect timeless look for you.
On the day I will arrive at your chosen venue with plenty of time to set up. Makeup will be applied to the bridal party first, the bride will generally have makeup applied last so it remains as fresh as possible. I will leave enough time to check & top up lips before I leave you. I will bring everything I need with me including a chair & lighting if required. I suggest having completed hair and makeup around an hour before the ceremony so you are left with enough time to get into your dress, have photographs taken and enjoy your time.
What do you love most about your job?
Its always so much fun meeting clients who are super excited to tell me all about there wedding plans, I love making a bride feel like a million dollars on their big day! I love my job but who wouldn't love a job where you get to buy and test endless amount of makeup!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Drink plenty of water in the months before your wedding day, it does wonders for your skin! Getting a skincare routine in place is also ideal as it will give a great base for the makeup.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
As most of my clients tell me I'm a very relaxed person, my chilled out nature calms the bride before the ceremony. I'm also very organised and put together a timing plan for the morning, this helps everything run to schedule as time goes so quickly on your wedding day!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Smile and enjoy the day, take every moment in because it goes so fast!
