I'm over the moon to currently be "Hairstylist of the Year" 2024, awarded to me at The Essex Wedding Awards. I was thrilled to also win this award in 2023!
For me, bridal hairstyling is an art form of the highest esteem and I take great pride in delivering beautiful, bespoke hairstyles for my brides. I love to perfect the finer details of an elegant up-do or a modern glam wave.

What about your business are you most proud of?
For delivering a tailor-made service to each of my uniquely beautiful bridal clients and their wedding parties. I am thrilled to receive such positive feedback from so many of you and to have your continued support by recommending me to more lovely brides-to-be! What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Act quickly if you are happy with your desired wedding day suppliers to avoid disappointment! Our diaries fill up fast and we can sometimes be booked up to a year in advance.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Handwritten letters to be read on the morning of the wedding. There won't be a dry eye in the bridal suite!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once I have confirmed my availability on your wedding date, I send you a questionnaire in which you can tell me as much detail as possible about your day and I'll follow up with a call or we can meet on Zoom! This helps me to get the best sense of you and your desired wedding day style! When you book in with me and reserve your wedding date in my diary, I invite you to my home studio to trial a selection of hairstyles and to get to know each other a little better - it's important that we gel before the big day :) My brides often say that it is at their bridal trial when it all starts to feel real and they feel excited about what's to come! I like to follow up with you within 3 weeks of your trial date to check you are happy with the services to be provided and that you're feeling really good about the day. I'll prepare a time plan for the morning getting ready which you can share with your wedding party so that everybody is organised. We meet again, usually bright and early, on the morning of your wedding day to start creating your bridal style!
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing a bride's face light up when she feels genuinely beautiful on her wedding day. There isn't a better feeling than knowing you played a part in making somebody else feel special. It's well worth the months of planning and early starts!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Delegate a bridesmaid to watch me demo how to secure your veil properly and how to remove it without disrupting your beautiful hairstyle. I'll leave you with a few extra grips before I depart in case of any fly-away strands!
