What is your most memorable wedding?
I have quite a few really but the funniest was when a lovely bride decided to celebrate her bridal morning with her bridesmaids & as she uncorked her champagne bottle (little did we know it had been shaken prior to this) the cork flew out the bottle, whizzed round the room and just missed knocking me out as I dived behind the sofa for safety. Luckily, the bride got to the wedding on time, looking glamorous after lots of laughter!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Elegant, radiant, sophisticated
What about your business are you most proud of?
Relaxed atmosphere while still offering a professional service.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy every moment from planning your wedding to the big day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A box of bridal coloured flip flops near the dance floor, in various sizes for those who had tired feet from the days events. I thought it was a really thoughtful touch especially for those who were not used to wearing heels.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Following the enquiry, a booking form is required with a £ 20 deposit to secure the wedding date.
This is later refunded following a successful trial. Trials are definitely recommended for the bride but are optional for the bridal party.
At the trial, not only is there a consultation on the type of look required but details on timing etc are required to ensure the morning runs smoothly & efficiently. This is very much a two way process as my aim is to achieve a highly professional look without altering your individual style after all your "husband to be"still wants to recognise you going down the isle!
What do you love most about your job?
The people.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Its never to early to start your skin care regime after a clear, glowing complexion will help your makeup go on better & last longer during the day.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
"Sense of humour!" and a smile
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Enjoy every moment
